This 21 inch Madame Alexander Annabelle was found in a cedar chest and had been stored for the last 70 years. She belonged to my sister-in-law’s best friend. She is in unplayed with condition, her shoes, socks. Dress, sweater and undergarments have never been removed. Her hair still feels firm, a bit out of place from being in storage for all those years.. She has no fading, no discoloration to her body or her clothes, there is no fading, no odors. Dolls are not usually found stored for all these years in unplayed condition. So you will have to decide if she’s for you or someone special. Vintage 1950′s hard plastic Annabelle doll by Madame Alexander. Doll is 14 with Maggie face and sleep eyes, intact full lashes, dark blonde hair is in original set and clothing is all original. Dress front has very minor fading, tag on dress came loose when I was undressing her for photos and I have re-attached it. I don’t think the petticoat is original to her but she came to me with it and it flares out skirt nicely. The Annabelle book is a lovely signed 1st edition in beautiful condition except for the back inside cover which someone once drew a grid and numbers on (in pencil). Doll has no bad odors or marks, questions welcome.

Vintage 1952 14 Madame Alexander Hard Plastic Annabelle Doll (Kate Smith’s Daughter) Maggie Face in Original Costume. Adorable blonde, unmarked Annabelle doll from Madame Alexander with pretty facial paint, original synthetic wig, working sleep eyes, thick, brush lashes, painted eyebrows, bright cheek blush and closed mouth. Good condition torso, arms, legs, fingers and toes. Jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Made of hard plastic. Strung tightly – she can stand and pose. She is wearing her tagged one piece white cotton blouse and skirt combination, turquoise sweater with embroidered “Annabelle” across the front, vintage bow decorated, pink cotton slip with attached panties, replaced nylon socks and vintage black shoes. Good, played with condition. Face paint is original and good. Working sleep eyes with thick, brush lashes. Original, synthetic wig re-set in original curls. Strung tightly she can hold a pose. Perfect fingers and toes. Plastic, skin tone is clear – free of large stains, cracks gouges or bites. Dress and sweater are original and in good played with condition. Slip and panty combo appears to be a Madame Alexander replacement. Shoes are vintage replacements. Socks and hair ribbon are new replacements. Marked: Tag on blouse. Kate Greenaway was a famous children’s book illustrator captured here by Madame Alexander. She is 14 tall and includes the stand. She is in excellent condition and is coming from a smoke free home.

No cracks or flaws. As a side note my father’s family was one of the first 200 settlers there in 1802 having sailed from Scotland. Bright blue sleep eyes with bright braided red hair mohair wig.

This vintage Madame Alexander doll is a must-have for any collector. Measuring 15 inches in length, the Kate Greenway doll is made of composition material and dates back to the 1930s. She is beautiful and all original! There are some craze lines around her eyes and small marks on her composition here and there, but overall a really lovely example of this doll.

1942 Madame Alexander Kate Greenaway Doll – 15 Hand Tag. Marks are Princess Elizabeth/Madame Alexander. Beautiful doll in htf condition with almost no crazing, gorgeous coloring, all lashes, clear blue eyes, and bright original mohair wig. She is wearing her original yellow dress that has a few holes one hidden by her arm and tiny ones here and there. Elastic in sleeves and underwear are great. Hat has a few thinning spots, ribbon is vintage and one feather is still remaining. She comes with her original gauntlets and Madame Alexander hand tag. One sock has hole and shoes are newer. Very rare, coveted & gorgeous Cissette Margot Klondike Kate Madame Alexander 9 inch hard plastic doll. This rare Cissette is from the 1962 Madame Alexander Vintage Collection. Klondike Kate was the show girl of the period of the Alaskan gold rush boom. She was created as an exclusive edition for FAO Schwarz in 1962. She is a MARGOT Cissette – the Margot line was only in production for two years so she is a rare model. Klondike Kate’s features are a socket movable head, elaborate upswept hairdo, blue eye shadow, black eyeliner, rosebud pink lips, and nailpolish. She is wearing a 3 strand pearl necklace (one has a clasp). No earrings but has a diamond ring and rhinestone bracelet. Her nails are painted a pretty rose pink. She is wearing a red velvet fitted style dress, a trimmer with matching nylon tulle and swirly braid. Very much like Miss Kitty saloon girl singer from the Gunsmoke show, also popular in this early 60s era. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander New York & is in Lovely condition. 4 square shaped snaps. She is Alexander model 761, 1962. Her brunette hair in a fancy updo has 4 red feather plumes. She has black lace and ruffled panties and stockings. She has the MADAME ALEXANDER imprint on her back, this can be seen in the photo. She is shown on pg. Her face is exquisite. Her sleepy eyes work beautifully. Her legs are jointed just above the knee and her arms move as well in ball and socket fashion. Now to the flaws: one part of one finger on her right hand is missing and her torso became stained from the black panties over the decades. There are many many replacement parts for MA dolls – so I believe finding a new right arm and replacing it will be fairly easy. Miss Kate has the MA lady torso shape.
