For your consideration is this amazing 1958 Alexander Elise doll typically known as Junior League. She is an excellent condition, the only issues I see are that her shoes elastic has completely stretched out and the ribbon around her coat has left a couple of pink marks around the collar and a tiny bit in the front of the coat. She could also use a good steaming on her dress and coat but I will leave that up to the new owner. Her hair is still in its original hair style and she has lovely, beautiful coloring. She has beautiful blue eyes and all of her eyelashes. She has her furry hat with little purple flowers on top! She really is for the true Elise collector. I believe this doll is very hard to find especially in this condition. Now the box is another story it is in pieces – I didnt take pictures of it because it is a mess somebody will have to put it together with tape if they want the box. This doll has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. She is part of my personal collection and comes from a smoke free home and has no odors. This is another wonderful estate found, vintage Madame Alexander. She is an absolutely gorgeous, 16 ELISE doll. She is wearing the rare, htf, tagged, JUNIOR LEAGUE ensemble. Dolls hair is still in the hairnet! She also has on her nylons, slip, undies, and shoes, but 1 is missing a little pearl on strap. It comes out of the estate of a long time elderly doll collector who has decided to part with alot of her collection. The set is free of stains rips or tears. I personally consider it to be in near mint condition. Could use a steaming or press as it was in a box full of doll clothes. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Gorgeous Madame Alexander Elise Junior League – NO RESERVE – Original Box. Circa 1957, Madame Alexander hard plastic Elise doll with jointed legs and ankles, vinyl jointed arms, blonde saran wig with center part hairstyle, blue sleep eyes with molded eyelashes, rosy lips and pink cheeks, diamond earrings, wearing original #1636 “Junior League” tagged purple taffeta dress with tagged white coat, white fur hat with cloth flowers, original slip, underwear, sheer stockings, and purple high heeled shoes. Size: 16 inches tall. Doll is in unplayed with condition, the edge of the left eyelash is slightly bent, wig is in the original set, dress is crisp and there are no stains or odors, the back of the dress is wrinkled from being stored in box, stockings are held in place by the elastic, straps on left shoe is slightly loose tight. Box is in good condition, with some tears, staining and overall edge wear, re-glued split on side of box. These dolls were carefully stored away and come from a nonsmoking home.
