Rare and hard to find doll by Madame Alexander -portrait of Jane Withers!! She is about 15 tall; all composition. Face and body have some crazing, flaking, chipped areas. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Upper real lashes are present. Paint to her face is well preserved. Her wig seems to be original but we are not sure about that. This is a stunning 1955 Alexander-kins hat for outfits #457 “Wendy Goes To Sunday School” and “Curly Locks” #472. 25 and on outfit #472 in the “World of Alexander Kins” by P. Smith on page 155. The hat is in excellent condition with no issues what so ever. The color is beautiful and the pink flowers are in terrific shape.
