This is a very rare doll. I have been told it is Hulda and I have been told it is a mystery doll. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this doll. She is as I found her. She may have touched up lips and other features. Box may not be correct and is showing some mold.

Madame Alexander 14 Mystery Dance doll w/ box, papers. She’s from a MA adult collector and may have been display at sometime. She’s in great shape and has been stored in her box for years. The back of her dress is a little wrinkled but that’s it. I won’t iron this but it will come back to shape. I see no stains, or holes in netting. Her hair had a hair net on and I removed it for the photos. The box is in good shape but you can tell something was set on top of it. It’s pushed down just a bit but no tears in corners or anything else major. Happy to send additional photos. Vintage Madame Alexander Mystery collection Victorian Bride Deborah Bride. This beautiful bride belong to a lady in Northern California. She was a collector who had over 180 Kohls on her passing. Her Sons split the collection. Finally this doll ended up in the hands of her grandson. I do have her name but do not want to publish it here if anyone would like to know I can supply it. She is the wonderful and rare 1951 Madame Alexander Victorian Deborah Bride. She is one of the hard plastic portrait dolls from the Mystery series of 6 dolls. I also see her referenced as the 1951 fashion Academy Medallion Victorian Bride. Her dress is satin and lace. She has her original veil, cameo, flowers, shoes and nylons. I cant really see but can only imagine the panties are of course original. Her bustle Is amazing. Her bouquet has flowers & ribbons, one of them actually has a little mini daisy attached. Her finger nails still have the original pink nail polish. Note the ribbon tied around her ankles must have been put there to hold her near the stand. That is how I received her so I never removed it. She has a few issues. I believe the lace and the bouquet need cleaning. The veil does have a few holes. I can supply many more detailed photos. This is the 21″ Mystery Portrait doll “Kathryn Grayson made in 1951. A true treasure that is 70 years old. She is made of hard plastic and has the gorgeous and desirable Margaret face, and is painted with elaborate make up. She has lovely arched eyebrows, beautiful green eyes, with thick, long lashes, and painted eyeliner and painted lashes on the outside of her eyes. She has full red lips and rosy cheeks, as well as painted red fingernails. Her shiny red hair is pulled back with cascading long curls down her back, in the original set. Her hair has beautiful original flowers with rhinestones attached. For accessories she has her original pearl drop earrings, and darling handbag covered in lace that matches her gown. Her gown is simply FABULOUS! It is covered in cream colored lace and netting, encrusted at the neckline and all over the bodice with rhinestones and cream lacy trims. The gown has light shelf dust. She has a silky cream underskirt, with matching silky underwear. She has on her original stockings and original shoes as well, all in very nice shape. She is really an amazing and very rare doll.
