Here’s an original tagged Madame Alexander Cissy dress from the 1950s. It’s the popular yellow flowery taffeta dress with black sash at the waist. The dress is not perfect but displays very nicely. The material is a little faded but is still nice and crisp. There is a tear at the left shoulder. As the photos show, this is hard to notice when the dress is on the doll. The lace around her sleeves may have been white at one time and has now turned beige. I see no holes or stains on the dress. The little black hat is not original to the dress but it is 1950s vintage and matches nicely. It’s decorated with netting and little white cabbage roses. Comes with vintage hatpin. The doll, her hose, shoes, ring and earrings are not included. Also, to achieve the look of a full skirt as shown in the pictures, your doll will need to wear a crinoline.
