Vintage 1950s auburn-haired Cissy is quite the picture of elegance entering the Weiner Staatsoper (Vienna Opera House) in Austria. Her gorgeous purple and black brocade stapless gown, sprinkled in tiny rhinestones here and there is from Madame’s 2002 Cissy’s European Homiday trunk set. Her black fur stole is made of authentic mink. The petticoat is OOAK as it was designed for me by Donna for this specific Cissy gown. It is embellished at the front with a purple rose and black satin ribbon. The doll is a gorgeous blonde with her hair in its original set – pulled back with curly topknot, and pulled back with lots of curls at the neckline. I dare not try to recover it in fear of breaking the stringing. Her sweeping gown is lace print over heavy faille. Her cape is orlon Ermin and satin lined. She has a velvet sash with a flower corsage. Matching original ribbon in her hair. Pale blue paper taffeta and tulle slip. Her panties are trimmed with val lace. Seamed hose, finger-less gloves and rhinestone bracelet necklace, and earrings. Her face is lovely with light pink cheeks, perfect eye lashes, clear blue eyes and the original mat finish. She has a few fly away hairs from lying stored on her back. I will be adding a picture of her slip/panties. I added a professional picture of another doll. It is the last photo. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Tagged blue taffeta dress with satin coat. Matching slip, panties, stockings, white strappy high heels, three strand pearl necklace and hoop petticoat. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair is tied at the sides, nice sheen. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a fabulous dress of blue taffeta with an ivory satin coat lined in matching blue taffeta, blue bow at the neck. She has blue taffeta panties and a matching underskirt with ruffled flounce, plus a hoop skirt petticoat. She wears seamed stockings and white strappy high heel shoes. Her necklace is original, wired triple stand pearls. The clothing is in overall good vintage condition, shows some age, no tears or stains. The stockings have a repair in one foot and the tops are slightly different, the elastic straps on the shoes have lost some stretch. Overall stunning doll and rare outfit!
