Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. Her dress is made of a vintage blue polished cotton with design of pink rosebuds, with drop waist and puffed sleeves. It is a lovely fabric with nice sheen and fullness. A copy of one of Cissy’s original dresses. There are 5 square snaps that close her dress in back. Under the dress is a taffeta nylon half slip with matching undies. The dress and slip/undies were made by several seamstress friends that are highly talented. She has nice tight nylons and lovely, newer blue high heel Cissy shoes. She carries a white straw bag with pink velvet rose and matches her white horsehair hat, made by Richards Originals.. I have embellished the hat with a large pink velvet rose and sprigs of tiny blue flowers. Her jewelry is a signature rhinestone bracelet and matching rhinestone stud earrings. A pair of pink nylon Cissy gloves completes her outfit. Cissy herself is stunning. She has been to the spa for a refreshing and has a flawless face…….. Nice cheek color, one stroke brows, full lashes and full red mouth. Her eyes are a deep blue color. Her hair is a deep honey blond and the hair is pulled up on each side and made into one large curl. The hair is pulled back from the front into a cluster of curls at the back of her neck. Her hair looks more red in my pictures, as my camera can’t seem to get it right. The doll has no problems, no cracks and clean condition. A lovely doll and gorgeous outfit! From smoke free home. Vintage Madame Alexander 1950′s Cissette is Dressed in Pink Polished Cotton Dress with White Bib of Val Lace and Buttons Style #909 of 1957 as Shown on Page 148 in Marjorie Merod’s “Cissette a Complete Guide”. Doll and Outfit are in New Condition. I took them Out of Original Box. Outfit Comes with with Taffeta Slip and Panties, both Trimmed With Val Lace. The Hat was also Included in the box. I have Added Pink Stockings and Shoes. There is a very small pin prick sized black spot near hem of skirt which is barely noticeable and I haven’t tried to remove it. Cissette Doll has Lovely Face. The fabric is white background with lots of green vines, flowers and birds. Dress has a dropped waistline, with ribbon sash, and large puffed sleeves. Under the dress is a white taffeta half slip with white stiff net ruffle and matching undies. Original Cissy nylons, original green Cissy shoes, and matching straw hat and handbag. Both are decorated with lovely flowers that go with the dress perfectly. Her only jewelry is her rhinestone bracelet and tiny rhinestones on each ear. She is in excellent condition with original blonde wig, Super excellent coloring with brown brows, green flutter eyes, black under lashes, bright pink cheeks and red lips. Her body is in excellent condition with arms that will hold a pose and walker works. Wendy is wearing a kins untagged dress, Kins slip, matching slip undies, kins shoes and socks. Cissy Doll Dress 1958 Madame Alexander. Polished Cotton Navy Polka Dot. Pretty original dress for Cissy doll. Collar and cuffs have yellowed/dingy. Polished cotton is lovely and crisp. Doesn’t appear to have ever been laundered. No odors, rips, tears, fading, all snaps present and pretty tag.
