She is a hard plastic Bend Knee Walker with triple stitched wig, Red shoes with fuzzy bottoms, however, all of her heavy marching they have lost some fuzziness. She wears white undies. From an estate collection comes a wonderful red haired Alexander-kin dressed in the complete outfit #576 “Wendy’s First Sailor Dress” from 1955. Wow this is one adorable doll. This darling SLW has beautiful red hair that is nice and tight to her head with lots of shine. She has beautiful bright facial coloring and she is a 1955 doll with no under eye lashes which is correct for this year and outfit. Her body is in good condition with no stains or cracks. Her outfit is just excellent as well. The navy under dress is crisp with lots of body and shine. The darling shirt over top is also in excellent condition with no holes, stains tears or odors. The color is beautiful and it comes with the correct red ribbon tie around the neck. Under her dress she has on a beautiful star slip with tight elastic and matching star bloomers also with nice tight original stretch. To top off the outfit she has her darling sailor hat. The felt hat has no holes, fading or wear and the red pom is in great shape. The only issue with this hat was that the gold elastic had stretched so we tightened it up and now if fits perfectly on her head. To finish this outfit off she comes with htf red Alexander kins socks and white fuzzy bottom shoes both of which are in very good condition. This is such a great doll that will not disappoint. Beautiful Madame Alexander Alexander-Kins. #574 Wendy Bent Leg Walker Tosca Hair Alexander – Kins. Eyes seem to be black and open and close freely. Legs move as her head turns. Outfit tagged (there are 2 tags not sure why) , complete, no wear, but her sailor hat has some moth damage. (I will try to picture) Tosca hair with curls. White shoes and white socks. Description of doll states Wendy is dressed casually in Basque type shirt, worn with pleated skirt and French sailor hat. Doll has not been used or played with – she has been stored in this box for 50 – 60 years and needs a new home. The back of her dress and hat is a bit flat from being in the box.
