Vintage 1950s auburn-haired Cissy is quite the picture of elegance entering the Weiner Staatsoper (Vienna Opera House) in Austria. Her gorgeous purple and black brocade stapless gown, sprinkled in tiny rhinestones here and there is from Madame’s 2002 Cissy’s European Homiday trunk set. Her black fur stole is made of authentic mink. The petticoat is OOAK as it was designed for me by Donna for this specific Cissy gown. It is embellished at the front with a purple rose and black satin ribbon. The doll is a gorgeous blonde with her hair in its original set – pulled back with curly topknot, and pulled back with lots of curls at the neckline. For your consideration is this amazing Alexander Cissy doll from 1956. She is known as the Pink Ballerina Dress and The dress is basically made out of lace and pink tulle. The dress does have all the flowers and I do not see any holes in the tulle. There is some fading in the dress-it is very hard to capture in the pictures. She really is simply breathtaking! This doll is not for the mint collector. The elastic in her panties is stretched and She comes with her nylons and shoes that I did replace the silver elastic. She has gorgeous hair and good color. She does have a split by her left knee and one on each side of her hip-you can not see those when shes standing and it does not Affect her posing. I didnt know that it was there until I really did the super in detail look. She has glued on crystal earrings to give her a little extra sparkle. She is missing some flowers in her hair but those can be easily replaced. She comes from a smoke free home and has no odors! She is ready to be your Valentine! For your consideration is this amazing Alexander Cissy doll from 1958. She is known as the LADY IN RED and shes wearing a red taffeta ball gown with a tulle wrap dotted with fine glitter. This is a hard to find Doll in this condition. This beautiful girl is ready for the Christmas ball! She really is simply breathtaking! Nowshe does have some imperfections As her gown does have a few spots on it and in one small section there is water stain on her hem. She has had her hair completely restored and it looks glorious! I believe these are her original pearl earrings but she does have replaced pearl necklace and replaced Crystal Snowflake pin. Her slip does have stretched elastic at the waist. This is one of those times when pictures say a thousand words. Here is the Alexander Doll Company’s very rare yellow version of boxed extra item #22-60, the dotted Swiss tulle gown from 1959, also catalogued by FAO Schwarz as item #25-21-2. With an extremely critical eye, I must say this gown is in as near mint condition as mint can be – I reserve awarding that title only because it does not have its original box. This bright & crisply tagged gown has a cotton organdy underskirt; there is not a single spot of soiling or as much as a snag anywhere in either the organdy or the yards of overlaying tulle. Closure is at the back with four square snaps. Usually seen in the more familiar red version, both the yellow and the blue gowns are extremely rare and a favorite among collectors. Underneath Cissy is wearing vintage hosiery, and the gorgeous silk taffeta & tulle yellow slip (with matching original panties) is a perfect replica of the slip originally seen with this spectacular gown. Cissy is wearing a topaz set of rhinestone jewelry and an original Cissy “diamond” ring, and she carries yellow vintage gloves and an original vintage white & gold hatbox. Her vintage original gold sandals make the outfit complete! Cissy is exquisite, an early 1956 painted girl with gorgeous features, her blush & lip color have been lightly refreshed. Maggie Is Happy… It’s Almost Summer! Check this cutie out, in her beautiful, original tagged outfit! The white organdy blouse with ruffle-tiered sleeves has a square neckline, buttons at the back, and it’s decorated with the original pink velvet bow. There are rhinestones sprinkled on the waistband & front of the skirt. This adorable outfit is in outstanding condition, with no holes, rips, tears or odors. Underneath Maggie wears a stiff taffeta slip (not original, and probably homemade) which is a bit too long for this skirt, but a slight “hike” at the waist does the trick!
