HTF MA Cissy Doll Redhead in Camellia Ensemble HTF Light Blue Version w/ Tags. Here we have Madame Alexander Cissy doll she was displayed in a home for her lifetime a non smoker. She has no cracks chips or breaks, nice skin tone, red hair curled still with pins in it, original hat panty hoes under pants dress and shoes hard to believe! Her hat box has damage (I did accidentally closing it).. Has some dirt mark on knuckles and a brown spot on finger I think will come off with a cleaning I didn’t want to try after I broke part of her hat box it still intact but now needs repair , a bit of red on one ear from her red hair. The usual outfit is in blue with a coat and different hat, but same skirt and similar blouse. This great condition outfit consists of a pink skirt, white blouse, ivory cardigan, fancy pink hat, and undies. First of all, the Alexander-kin is a BKW with a gorgeous triple stitch red wig and bright all original facial coloring. She is just so pretty in pink! There are no cracks splits in her hard plastic and her stringing is tight. The walker walks if somewhat hesitantly. Her beautiful sparkling eyes open and close easily. The pink skirt has good waist elastic and stays up nicely. There are two barely visible light brown marks on the skirt, one at the hem and one near the waist. Honestly they show up more in the pictures that in person. The white blouse is different than the blue outfit version in that it has a ribbed texture in front. The wonderful knit cardigan has no holes or stains and has good buttonholes and original buttons. Underneath is a full star slip, instead of a half slip, and matching star panties. Both in very good condition. The hat is so wonderful! It is the bandeau type hat with bunches of flowers on each side and tied under the chin with a pink bow. Finally the socks and fuzzy bottom black shoes are also in very good condition. What a special “Kin” to add to your collection! All items are carefully wrapped including tissue, bubble wrap, and most items are boxed. Items come from a non-smoking home. This is a beautiful, Vintage, 18 Madame Alexander, hard plastic, Karen Ballerina in a tagged, very rare variation outfit. Her coloring, eyebrows, lips, blushing etc. Her mohair braids are in decent vintage condition, with some of the under strings showing through (as is often the case), and still adorned with roses. She still has her original black velvet ribbon at her neck and wrists. Her ballet dress still has it’s gold ribbon and flowers and roses attached. Her pink panties are still in fantastic condition as are her pink satin ballet slippers. I believe the tag on her dress hasn’t been washed, but does show some signs of fading in the lettering a bit from being displayed near sunlight by a previous owner. Karen Ballerina’s are somewhat rare and fairly sought after dolls, and this variation (with the pink trim around the neckline on the sleeves and at the waist) is VERY hard to find. She isn’t in mint condition, but is a beautiful example of a VERY rare variation doll. She comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Check out my other listings of minty and/or rare dolls.
