1950s 20 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll in Tagged Dress w/Coat & Fur Hat AS-IS. Her head is no longer attached to her body. It is a beautiful head with netting still on the hair and gorgeous face paint. Uneven eyelashes on right eye. Her tagged blue taffeta dress is wrinkled but otherwise clean and crisp. It has a large rhinestone at the top. Pink panties underneath are excellent. One hose has hole at toe but the pair’s elastic at top is still tight. One silver lame strap on one high heal came unattached to the side. Over her cocktail dress is a blue satin coat with rhinestone button. It is not tagged and is not an exact match to her dress but they look good together. Rabbit fur cuffs (a little wear) and matching blue satin lined rabbit fur hat adorned with rhinestones. Not sure these two pieces are original cissy items since they are not tagged. Someone asked if there were any cracks or splits at any of her joints. So, I removed her clothing to check. There are no cracks or seam splits on the doll. No transfer stains either. When I removed her dress (I didn’t remove her hose) I knocked off that loose shoe and another strap broke on that same damaged shoe so now the top strap that goes around her ankle will need to be repaired.
