Vintage Madame Alexander Kins 1956 SOUTHERN BELLE in Pink and All Original

This beauty is one of the 1956 “Southern Belles” as sown on p. Smith’s “World of Alexander-kins”. I don’t believe this doll has ever been undressed as the purse is securely tied to her hand and looks to have never been removed. The doll herself is a BKW that has original light blush and a gorgeous blonde triple stitch wig. There are no cracks or stains in her body from me peeking beneath her clothes, but not undressing her. The outfit is glorious. It is complete with the pink taffeta fancy dress in great condition, magenta fuzzy bottom shoes, magenta purse securely tied to her wrist, cotton pantaloons, matching slip, double strand necklace that is silver (I think the white wore off) and fantastic hat. The purple hat is adorned with flowers and net trim. I did not find any holes in the netting. The pantaloons and slip have very relaxed elastic, but they stay up under the dress well enough to display. All in all a true beauty to add to your collection!
