Madame Alexander 1999 Classic Ballerina. 1999 Doty industry’s choice doll of the year. Bands have been replaced due to age they were loose. She was restrung with high quality bands, shown in pictures. This was the only time she was removed from box. Please review all images for details.

This product is a set of six 12-inch dolls from Madame Alexander’s The First Ladies Series II. Each doll represents a First Lady and comes with a display stand, outfit, undergarment, jewelry, and socks/tights. The dolls have varying hair colors, eye colors, and hair types, with a light complexion. They are vintage dolls manufactured in 1974 and are signed by Madame Alexander’s makers mark. The dolls are part of a collector’s series and are non-toxic and non-scented.

This is a rare Madame Alexander Asian Hello Kitty doll from the Ice Cream Delight collection, standing at 8 inches tall. Miss I Magnin has just come back from Paris. She sports a black pill box hat, and Channel-type pink crepe suit with a golden chain belt. Quilted black Purse, I Magnin hat box, and black suede pumps. Ten inches tall with beautifully coiffed blonde hari.. She is a rare find in amazing condition. This is a near-perfect doll in the original box and has her original Madame Alexander tag and certificate of limited edition. She is #1350 out of 2000 dolls made. Box still has the original I Magnin price tag. Doll comes with stand and dust cover to protect her.

Her limbs are attached securely, mostly. I believe she is a walker; but when I turn her head, she only moves one leg. She MAY need new elastics. That being said, nothing seems loose. She is very clean and lovely. My limited experience with re-stringing a few dolls, is that most of the elastic bands are dry-rotted and will eventually break. I have used a tiny “cloth” elastic to re-string the few that I have done. I have not done anything to this doll. Marked ALEX on her upper back. Also, see tag to help determine age. She has jointed, or bent knees. Her hair looked blonde to me at first; then in the sunlight, it appeared reddish blonde. Her outfit may or may not be complete… So please examine the pictures to determine her age/decade of manufacture. Please be sure this doll is as you expect regarding age/vintage.
