Beautiful Elise doll by famous Madame Alexander!! All hard plastic except vinyl arms below the elbows. Marked on her backMME ALEXANDER. Some yellow discoloration and marks are present to her face, hard plastic body and outfit. Yellow darkening IS NOT from smoking: no smoking odor is present. Beautifully preserved face paint. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Hair is in original shape. Veil wasn’t removed due to being securely attached to her hair. Tagged original outfit ; tag is present. New high heels shoes; not original to this doll. She is missing her jewelry and, probably, flower bouquet. Some stains and holes might be present to her outfit- see photos. Please refer to pictures. Beautiful Madame Alexander Elise doll about 1958 and 15in tall. Jointed elbows, knees, ankles. Open close eyes that work freely. She wears a toule type outer skirt and poof sleeves with white dots. Some of white dots have rubbed onto dolls vinyl arms from storage. Beautiful off white underskirt and a pink skirt under that. Doll wears pretty white panties. Snap closures in back, pink ribbon tie. Dress and ribbon need a careful ironing or clever way to safely straighten dress fabrics. Dolls hair is a pretty blonde and curls need a spa treatment from laying flat in storage. Pretty pink floral headband which the string under has stretched. Right poof sleeve elastic appears to be stretched. You may find a light cleaning needed, or small things not mentioned here. Elise is a real beauty and I hope she finds a home to appreciate her!

She is good vintage condition for her age. Her face up is original with vivid coloring. There are some light discolorations on her face. Her body is restrung. She is wearing the original tagged vintage Pink Bridesmaid polka dots dress. Her faux diamonds earrings are original, pearls necklace and flowers headpiece are replacement. She is wearing white panty, knee length underskirt which elastic has stretched, pink panty hose with some holes and a pair of silver spike heels which elastic also have stretched out. Please see photos for conditions. Overall a very beautiful doll for your consideration. I’m not a vintage doll expert but just a new casual collector. Vtg 1950′s Madame Alexander ELISE 15 Doll Hard Plastic w Jointed Vinyl Body. Doll is in nice clean working condition. She has not been restrung and still has her original band inside arms. Her eyes are nice and bright with full lashes. She has a light complexion with nice face paint. Her joints are good. It does take a bit of gentle pressure to put her in a sitting position. I put the right leg in first then the left leg goes more easily. Other than that, she will need a doll stand to display. Her outfit is not tagged and is a beautiful sea blue green color. It appears to be made of organdy where her slip is made of satin. I’ve replaced her nylons and shoes. She comes with a nice faux white shawl. She is a very nice doll. Her joints are secure & Elise poses easily. Joints are moveable at neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees & ankles. Elise holds a Lovely flower bouquet trimmed with ribbons. Her veil is held in place by a beautiful band of flowers. Her nylon stockings are free of defects. Bright Clear Blue Eyes all lashes intact Eyes open and close easily. Beautiful all Original face color Body has no cracks and the only defects I can see are photographed and are just surface. I do not know the proper way to clean it so I will leave it up to the experts. She is in really great condition! She does have her earrings, though where they go into the ears, there’s the tiniest bit of corrosion. The gown is in great clean condition as is the veil. We would prefer not to disappoint you!
