This is our Madame Alexander-kin Wendy KIN BKW Bent Knee Walker Doll wearing a Brown Dress with Yellow Pinafore. She is just adorable! She is marked ALEX on her back. Her triple-stitched brown hair in pigtails is in nice condition with pretty ribbons and just a few little flyaways. She has pretty blue eyes that open and close as they should and pale cheek color. We did not want to undress her because she has been this way since purchasing her and even the tie in back looks real nice. It is as if she was not played with; just kept displayed. Her legs are a little bit loose so her walker is not fully working and we aren’t able to stand her by herself so we are sending her stand along with her to safely display her. We can pose her arms. Her body, arms and legs appear in nice condition with light marks or rubs on them. We have kept her carefully stored for some time. Her brown dress has a nice Alexander-kin tag on the back neck and is in nice, clean condition, but we found one seam in the front area which we are not sure is original from the factory (photos 13-14-15). It closes securely in back with two sets of signature square snaps. Her yellow pinafore with lace trim is in very nice, clean condition and fits over the dress perfectly. It stands up a bit in back from storing her so needs to relax. White grommets are nice. Her added underpants are clean but rather large and not in very good condition. Her earlier beige fuzzy bottom secure side snap shoes are in fair condition showing wear and some some separation at the backs. Added socks are in good condition with some light pulls or stretching. A really sweet Kin doll! Please do not hesitate to ask for any additional photos or closeups as we are parting with a family collection and want to make sure that you know as much as possible about her before purchasing her. We took numerous photos so, again, please do not hesitate to ask. We hope to find her a wonderful new home. Thank you very much for looking!
We recently acquired the collection of an adult Madame Alexander and Steiff collector. I will be posting lots mostly of the Madame Alexander dolls. All are in excellent to Near mint condition. Most of the 8″-10″ dolls will have original boxes some lots are without boxes. There will be some listins of some rare hard to find 1950′s early hard plastic dolls as well So watch my listings of the next couple of days… Feel free to ask questions if there are concerns. This Lot is a very nice lot of four MIB Cisstte dolls in their original boxes. Two are store exclusives from the early 1990′s and two are MADCC Special Event dolls. You Get all four dolls for one price. Queen Elizabeth I, and the SOuthern Belle are store exclusives and Francis Folsom Cleveland and Mother of the Bride are MADCC dolls.
This doll is new. It has never been removed from its box. It’s face and hair is still in its netting. The doll is still attached to its box as it came originally with its stand. The crown and fairies are included. The only issue with this item is that one of the fairies is missing its wings (see picture). The fairies have been packed back in their original little box. Everything is in its original outer box with tissue.
Pease note: AI-generated background does not alter the item listing in any way. 86-years-old and still a Madame Alexander sparkling gem! Wendy Ann walks down the aisle with her original bouquet and a Bible given to her by her mother. Everything about her is original, except for the additional petticoat I gave her that was made for Elise. It does lovely justice to the tiered peplum ivory skirt of her wedding gown. The bodice and sleeves are of ivory satin brocade and the breath-taking veil, edged with intricate lace trim has – unbelievably! The attached slip is made of a problematic cheesecloth-type fabric, which I have worked to restore. She wears nylons, a garter made by me, and her original satin slippers with satin ribbon ties. Her panties are lace-trimmed and original to the doll as well. Last, but very important is that her necklace is also original to the doll and wears the tiny bead pearls strung together that Madame so often put on her vintage brides. Her mohair wig is strawberry blonde and is styled in a braided up-do. The florals on her veil are original and before mailing her to her new home, I will give them a little puff of steam so the lilies open up nicely. Her lashes are strawberry blonde as well and are lush and complete. Any crazing – hard to find – is filled and sealed. Her eyes are a beautiful pale brown and they have not crackled through the years. You will love this dazzling little wide-eyed bride! I welcome any questions. Thank you for looking and I wish you a happy and blessed New Year!
