A highly collectible piece, she is in good vintage condition with her hair still styled in its original set. Brand: Madame Alexander. Character: Sleeping Beauty. Clothing: Original light purple tagged evening gown (missing shoes). Doll is in good vintage condition. Hair: Nicely styled and still in its original set. Face: Slight rubbing to the rosy cheek paint on the left side; the rest of her face paint is intact and vibrant. Body: No split limbs, cracks, or chew marks on fingers or feet. Clothing: Gown is clean and free of odors, as is the doll. I was told the dress use to be blue but has badly faded. Alexander-Kins Alex Wendy Quiz Kin Doll Straight Leg Non Walker 1953. 7 1/2 Alexander-Kins Wendy Quiz-Kin Redhead Doll from 1953. MA only made Quiz-kins in 1953. Back is marked ALEX. Straight leg non-walker, her legs move nicely, She has been restrung. There are two push buttons on her back. The top button moves her head up & down, the bottom button moves her head from side to side, she is a yes no doll. Works perfectly (see video). Red hair in the original curly flip style of the 50′s with a faux floral headband. Early heavier body with just a few scratches and aged related fading (see pictures closely). Blue sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted lower lashes & brows. Eyes sometimes need manual help (see video). Heart shaped cherry red mouth and blushed cheeks. MA tagged pink organdy dress wraps around her waist and ties in the back. One little tear on her dress hem (see pics) and a very light stain. Off white suedette side snap shoes and off white socks. She is clean smelling. A darling early Wendy Quiz-Kins to add to your collection. Smoke free pet free home.
