Wearing tagged wedding gown with palest pink/cream bodice trimmed with tatting and lace ruffle, tulle yoke, pale pink tulle overskirt with lace borders, pale pink tulle sleeves, and veil with crown of flowers, pink taffeta underskirt and panties, stockings, cream front-snap shoes and carrying bouquet with silk streamers. This gorgeous and RARE Madame Alexander doll in in good vintage condition, made in 1950, and has exceptionally rosy cheeks, rose red lips, clear blue sleep eyes, and good overall condition. She is featured in THERIAULTS famous doll auctions. This lovely doll is very hard to find in this PETITE SIZE and in this condition. Her mohair wig is a brunette red/brown in its original set. It could use a bit of restyling. Her Hard Plastic body is in great shape with next to nothing in terms of paint scuffs, loss, chips, or cracks. The dress is in wonderful shape, still sturdy and not faded. The lace on dress is close to perfect, has no tears or holes. The lace on under sleeves, yoke and overskirt is delicate but still very nice. There may be a tiny spot on back of gown, but hardly noticeable. The square snaps are all intact, may need a stitch or two in places. NOTE: The pink veil has holes and tears in fabric. It is a bit limp and faded and there are stains that are present. It may be rust. The floral crown on top is also limp. She is wearing very delicate stockings and her shoes are nice. The bouquet may have been added somewhere in her history, otherwise she is all original. She will come with a stand. Her stringing is good. No box or wrist tags. Wendy Ann walks down the aisle with her original bouquet and a Bible given to her by her mother. Everything about her is original, except for the additional petticoat I gave her that was made for Elise. It does lovely justice to the tiered peplum ivory skirt of her wedding gown. The bodice and sleeves are of ivory satin brocade and the breath-taking veil, edged with intricate lace trim has – unbelievably! The attached slip is made of a problematic cheesecloth-type fabric, which I have worked to restore. She wears nylons, a garter made by me, and her original satin slippers with satin ribbon ties. Her panties are lace-trimmed and original to the doll as well. Last, but very important is that her necklace is also original to the doll and wears the tiny bead pearls strung together that Madame so often put on her vintage brides. Her mohair wig is strawberry blonde and is styled in a braided up-do. The florals on her veil are original and before mailing her to her new home, I will give them a little puff of steam so the lilies open up nicely. Her lashes are strawberry blonde as well and are lush and complete. Any crazing – hard to find – is filled and sealed. Her eyes are a beautiful pale brown and they have not crackled through the years. You will love this dazzling little wide-eyed bride! I welcome any questions. Still a beautiful doll. Her wig appears original. And in very good condition. She has a cardboard under her skirt. To help it flare and help he stand. She has a doll stand. Shes ready to spend the next 50 years in your curio cabinet.

In excellent preowned condition, she has a tagged outfit/dress, I see no stains, holes, or problems. Odor free, she has her original veil and flower bouquet, and also under her dress she wears her original shoes, stockings, and white satin underpants. I see a tiny little piece of white thread around one of the shoes, which I’m not going to remove. But otherwise everything looks perfect. Her hair looks like it’s never been touched, her face is very clean. Her body parts are not loose. This doll is beautiful-an amazing survivor and in such excellent condition!

Rare Madame Alexander Classic Beauties Classic Bride Doll, #22690 (1999). Her arms and face are soft plastic and her body is a hard plastic with jointed waist. She stands 17 tall. Her arms have a greasy feeling, probably to keep the vinyl in good condition. She has the Elise face, and has a honey brown wig in stylish flip, blue sleep eyes and pink lips. She is wearing a classic 50′s style satin wedding gown with 2-layered tulle overlay, trimmed in embroidered lace, pearls and sequins, and large satin bow in the back. She has a crinoline petticoat, seamed pantyhose, blue garter and ribbon-tied white satin high heels. The wedding gown bodice is done with pearls, the veil headdress has pearls and she has a 3-strand pearl necklace and pearl teardrop earrings. Her bouquet is made of silk rose flowers and satin ribbon. She is absolutely stunning. Please zoom in on her pictures for a visual of her stunning beauty. She comes with hang tag, original box and a stand. She still has the netting on her hair and face. The box is not perfect but very close to it.
