Vintage 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy In Pink Wallpaper Print Tagged Dress with Straw Hat. “Real” upper lashes and painted lower lashes. Closed mouth with good lip color. Hard plastic doll with vinyl arms. Bendable knees and arms. She is wearing a tagged, puff sleeved dress in a cotton wallpaper print with roses and ribbons. She is also wearing a beautiful pink lace trim slip, panties, stockings, sandals, and straw hat with flowers. Dress has snap closures at the back. A must have for the serious collector. Doll is in overall very good condition. Knees and elbows bend and hold. Dress is in very good condition. It has minor age discoloration around the sleeve ruffles but otherwise vibrant and beautiful. One snap closure on the back needs to be resewn. Slip is in good condition. Panties have some normal age discoloration and the elastic is tired. Stockings are in good condition, but one does have a pull. Sandals have some color fade but elastic is supple. Elastic band on the hat is tired. This listing is for a genuine Madame Alexander “Sunbeam” baby doll, c. This rare 19-inch baby girl possesses a soft vinyl head, lower arms, and lower legs. This precious baby also has a cloth torso, upper arms, as well as upper legs with floppy joints at her shoulders and hips. She features blue plastic sleep eyes with synthetic fiber upper lashes and painted lower lashes and eyebrows. Sunbeam also is depicted with an open/closed mouth with pink painted lips and red tongue. Her rosy checks and molded brown hair only adds to her innate charm. Sunbeam dons an intricate christening gown and bonnet with delicate embroidery and cutwork pattern. No tags, but Sunbeam’s ensemble looks similar (if not the same) to the photo on page 91 of Patricia Smith’s Madame Alexander reference book. It is period perfect, in any case. Sunbeam also includes a cry box in her back that works well! Overall excellent, preowned condition with no damage or blemishes to her vinyl. Minimal to no paint losses. Her christening gown is also free of cosmetic damage or foul odors. Marked on the back of her neck: ALEXANDER. Precious Sunbeam is very clean considering that she is over 70 years old.
