Pictured is an Early 7 1/2 Madame Alexander-kin Doll From 1953. She has the heavier body with solid legs, her back is marked ALEX. She is a straight-leg strung doll, not a walker. Blonde hair in the original curled set. Dark sleep eyes with blue, molded and hand painted lower lashes, painted brows, a beautiful matte complexion with fever cheeks and luscious red lips. She is wearing her original tagged outfit from 1953. It consists of a crisp red cotton school dress and floral print pinafore with red cotton panties with good elastic. She has white socks & red velvet side snap shoes that have fuzzy soles and her woven white straw hat with red fuzzy flower decoration. All very crisp & clean. She is well strung, her body is very clean as you can see. Her face is breathtaking, she looks like she was just made. It is rare to find an early 1953 model in this remarkable. 1954-55 SLW Alexander-kin, wearing a colorful original tagged outfit. ? The doll is in excellent condition with a working walker, immaculate triple-stitched honey blonde hair with flip curls and bangs, soft bisque-like coloring, with rosy cheeks, red lips, painted brows, and blue sleep eyes that open and close easily. She does have a tiny nick in the corner of her left eye socket that may be a factory flaw, but never noticed this until yesterday. It certainly doesn’t distract from her overall appearance unless looking closely, but wanted to mention it. I’ve added a close up to show this and have reduced her price from my previous listing. This darling Alex is wearing a tagged fuchsia cotton school dress with puff sleeves and white rick rack trim on the sleeves and neck, under a floral printed pinafore trimmed in white rick rack that buttons in back with three white buttons. Under her dress are coordinating fuchsia bloomers (elastic a bit loose) and rare fuchsia fuzzy side-snap smooth-bottom shoes, and pink socks. On her head, she wears a woven straw hat with floral trim. Simply darling and ready to display! No odors, smoke free environment. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Hard Plastic Doll Tagged Bride Outfit. This 1950s Cissy bride doll by Madame Alexander was given to me by my parents. She is about 20 tall. All hard plastic except vinyl arms below the elbows. She has been well kept. Her eyes do open but sometimes you have to help them open. She is missing a few eye lashes on left eye. She is in her original tagged bridal gown and she has never been undressed. Her shoes, stockings and veil are original as well. Note the band on her stocking (pic 9). I do not see any damage to her gown or stockings. There might be a little yellowing to the hem of her gown but it is very difficult for me to tell. Her veil, shoes, stockings, earrings and ring are all original to her. The stand is included. If you are a collector, this would be a great addition to your collection.

This adorable vintage 8 doll was made by Madame Alexander. I believe he was made in the 1950′s to early 1960′s. He is a bent knee walker – BKW. His red & white outfit is originally tagged Madame Alexander-kins. It is actually a double tag which they made by mistake. Both tags read Madame Alexander-kins. You can see on his picture. He wears his matching hat. His fuzzy bottom white shoes have worn with white socks. I think his name is Billy. His walking mechanism is temperamental but he stands nicely. He’s in very nice condition for his age. No rips or tears. Very nice complexion with pink cheeks and red lips. His eyes open & close on their own nicely. He is from my smoke-free free home. He is a Rare sweetheart.

No box, COA or tag. Comes in Cafe Rose and Ivory Cocktail Dress Beautiful embroidered dress with velvet shoulder straps and rich bow accent. Also included faux mink-organza wrap, long gloves, hat. She is missing her jewelry accessories. Stand is not included.

She wears the rare pink A-line dress from “Wendy’s Tea at the Waldorf” #40971, created exclusively for the 2005 Grand Ol Doll Club Luncheon. Bend Knee Walker (BKW). Sleep eyes: black, pupil-less. Auburn wig in excellent condition with original styling. Face paint clean and intact. No noticeable rubs or chips. Outfit & Accessories – All original Madame Alexander 8 doll pieces. Pink A-line dress from “Wendy’s Tea at the Waldorf” #40971 (2005) with white rick-rack trim and felt daisy appliqués with gold bead centers. White Peter Pan collar blouse with puff sleeves. MADAME ALEXANDER’HARD PLASTIC’ DOLL -”ALICE IN WONDERLAND”. What a Splendid doll. Looks to be all original This doll does not appear to have been redone in any way. She would be a stand out in any doll collection. Jointed Neck, Arms, Legs; Wig; Blue Sleep Eyes with Lashes; Closed Mouth. Early hard plastic doll; she is dressed in her original outfit of a light pink dress. An apron or is over the dress. Leggings and black shoes. On the back of the dress, on the outside, is the tag which reads: “Alice in Wonderland”, Madame Alexander, NY USA. The dress and pinafore have wrinkled and I doubt that they were ever washed – and I have not washed them now. The pinafore has yellowed. Her face is the “Maggie” mold beautiful and framed with golden blonde original wig; the top part of her hair is pulled back in a ponytail with bow. She is approximately 17 inches tall. She has jointed head, arms and legs with beautiful blue sleep eyes and full intact lashes – gorgeous eyes! This is a beautiful example of an early Alice in Wonderland Doll with Maggie face with original wig and clothes. I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age. I’m always willing to take additional photos or answered detailed questions. I will not end listings early for any reason so please do not ask. The volume of items is too many to list but overall the areas covered are vintage toys, postcards, games, advertising related items, tins, dolls and other collectibles.

In excellent preowned condition, she has a tagged outfit/dress, I see no stains, holes, or problems. Odor free, she has her original veil and flower bouquet, and also under her dress she wears her original shoes, stockings, and white satin underpants. I see a tiny little piece of white thread around one of the shoes, which I’m not going to remove. But otherwise everything looks perfect. Her hair looks like it’s never been touched, her face is very clean. Her body parts are not loose. This doll is beautiful-an amazing survivor and in such excellent condition!
