This is our precious 1953 Madame Alexander-kin Wendy Kin 8 inch Doll that is the heavier weight Kin doll with such a gorgeous face. Her complexion is light with pinky cheeks. She has rare gorgeous brown eyes that open and close nicely, and beautifully painted bottom lashes. Note in Photo 15 that we see a real tiny indent on the bottom rim of her right eye socket. Her triple-stitched hair is a darker blonde with some flyaways. She is marked ALEX on her back. She stands well and can pose her arms. Her body, arms and legs are nice but there is definite lighter discoloration to her leg area from exposure as noted in pictures. Just a sweet little angel. Her outfit includes: Kin tagged peachy-pink Swiss Dot Dress that is in very nice, crisp and clean condition. Her underpants and slip have the signature Kin embroidery on them. Both pieces are in clean condition but the underpants have some wear along the leg opening embroidery area with elastic a bit loose at waist. The half-slip is loose at waist too. She wears her Kin black side snap fuzzy bottom shoes with more current white socks. Shoes are in good condition with secure snaps but do have wear with the fuzz easily shedding now. Difficult to part with this sweetheart and hoping to find her a wonderful new home. This is our 1954 Madame Alexander Alexander-kin Wendy kin 8 inch SLW Straight Leg Walker Doll that has original and beautiful bright red cheeks that really catch your eye. She has striking blue eyes that flutter open and closed very easily. Her body, arms and legs are in nice condition with some marks, rubs or a touch of random discolor on them. She is marked ALEX on her back side. She can stand but does tilt a bit because she is a walker so do recommend a doll stand to securely display her. She wears a Kin tagged dress that is very soft and dainty looking on her. Dress is in nice condition, closing in the back with two sets of signature square snaps. The lace on one sleeve of dress is loose under the arm on one side. She wears a pair of Kin underpants that fit her snugly. She also wears a signature half-slip with some embroidery on it that is in clean condition but has had some stitching done at waist where elastic has relaxed. Her shoes are more current soft black slip-on shoes with smooth bottoms that are in good condition with some rubs or marks on them. We have always kept this doll very carefully stored away and feel that you will just love her when you see her. This is a very sweet Madame Alexander kin Wendy Kin difficult to find ORIGINAL early organdy MAYPOLE OUTFIT ONLY (no doll) that includes the dress, apron and added underpants, with more current black smooth bottom shoes and socks. The outfit has faded to a light pink dress with light blue apron but is in crisp and clean condition. There is one tiny pinhole on apron (see photo 8), rubs and paint rubs on apron metal grommets (photo 9), and a tiny edge tear on dress left side (photo 10). The pink ribbon was added to close the apron on waist. The added underpants are also in nice, clean condition with waist line relaxed a little bit. The added more current black velvet side snap smooth bottom shoes and socks are in good condition with some rubs on shoes. As you can see on one of our own dolls, it’s quite a stunning outfit! The dress has had its tag removed (remnants of it are seen on back top collar area) and closes in the back with two sets of signature square snaps. Dress is in nice, clean condition and may be just a touch lighter than it originally was. The beautiful blue floral pinafore is also in nice, clean condition with a little bit of fraying on ends to ties, a touch at one end seam, and a little bit of fabric starting to pull through one grommet (see photo 10). We also believe it may also be a touch lighter than it originally was but both pieces have even shading all over, so we aren’t totally sure. Do note that our camera does seem to make it seem a little darker than it is. As you can see on one of our own Kin dolls, it is really stunning on a Madame Alexander Wendy Kin doll which is why it is always difficult to find. This is our special 1953 Madame Alexander-kin Wendy Kin Heavy Strung Doll that wears the rare and stunning Tagged County Picnic Outfit. She is the heavier weight doll with the face that is more full around the cheeks. She is marked ALEX on her back and has pretty triple-stitched blonde hair with lots of curls. We prefer not to undress her and have removed her from a personal storage case where we have kept her with notes. She is strung and can stand well with her arms loose. Her body, arms and legs have some marks and discoloration on them. She has a really pretty face with blue eyes that open and close nicely and lightly blushed cheeks. She is wearing a tagged County Picnic outfit that includes the beautiful pink check long gown that has satin straps and the off white jacket that goes over it and ties with ribbon through two white painted metal grommets on the front. The dress is in nice, clean condition, closing with square snaps. There is only one dot mark on the inside skirt near lower hem. There is a little wrinkling on back side of gown because of keeping her stored flat. The jacket has some light brown discoloration to it and there are some scratches on the white paint of the grommets. Her straw hat is in very nice condition with pretty flowers on it (chin strap was replaced). Her organdy slip and pantalettes are original to the outfit and are in nice condition but have a lot of discoloration at the waistlines and have been stitched to keep them up at some point (photos 9+10). She wears the earlier fuzzy black side snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms and more current white socks. Shoes are in good condition with wear on bottoms. She is really a very special Kin that has been cherished.
