Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a very sweet Madame Alexander kin Wendy Kin difficult to find ORIGINAL early organdy MAYPOLE OUTFIT ONLY (no doll) that includes the dress, apron and added underpants, with more current black smooth bottom shoes and socks. The outfit has faded to a light pink dress with light blue apron but is in crisp and clean condition. There is one tiny pinhole on apron (see photo 8), rubs and paint rubs on apron metal grommets (photo 9), and a tiny edge tear on dress left side (photo 10). The pink ribbon was added to close the apron on waist. The added underpants are also in nice, clean condition with waist line relaxed a little bit. The added more current black velvet side snap smooth bottom shoes and socks are in good condition with some rubs on shoes. As you can see on one of our own dolls, it’s quite a stunning outfit! Vintage Madame Alexander-KINS Wendy. Adorable Alexander-kin doll from estate. I believe she is called Maypole Dance from 1954. She is a straight leg walker. Her walker mechanism works but seems a bit stiff to me. She has new bands on arms and legs. She comes with her original hang tag, pretty pink hat, pink organdy dress, blue button on pinafore, pink half slip, panties with blue trim, white socks and black fuzzy bottom side snap shoes. Some of the flocking has rubbed off the shoes in areas. She has pretty face color and is very clean with no odors. Her clothing is in lovely condition, appears never to have been laundered. Top of her socks are stretched out. Black fuzzy bottom shoes are scuffed. Faint pink mark on her chest. Faint spot above left eyebrow. Hang tag shows wear, corner was glued back together. This is a fabulous strung 1953 first year Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is in excellent condition with original triple stitched long blonde wig in original set, excellent high face coloring with brown brows, green gray eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, bright rosy pink cheeks and bright red lips no rubs. Her body is in excellent tightly strung condition. Alex is wearing her tagged organdy dress, organdy pinafore, slip and undies with adorable MA bonnet, beige fuzzy bottom shoes with white rayon socks. We are offering this adorable fancy Alexander-kins Wendy from our long time collection. She is a SLW, sleepy eye, She is marked Alex on her back. Original factory, Auburn hair color, with bangs and flip hair style. Her wig is original, T RIPLE. STITCHED, never restyled, clean, Thick and lovely. Wendy has visible eyebrows and eyelashes and her eyes flicker and close and open with ease. She has Pretty eyes. No scrapes or scuffs, No redoing, she is all original. Her walking mechanism works when you move her head her legs move. She is not as tightly together as she probably once was when new 61 years ago. Her dress is Taffeta with a yoke of white organza trimmed with pretty lace and tiny attached grommet buttons. The dress has a row of lace attached to the underside of the hem line and also the dress has sleeves edged with lace. She has on her original slip and matching panties in white with lace edging. The dress closes in the back with the original snaps, So cute and fancy. Wendy’s outfit has never been removed from her and is still tagged. On her head is her flower circlet with rosettes and held on with a chin strap. She is wearing her excellent white fuzzy fabric side snap shoes and her original anklets, perfect condition, no problems very nice. Wendy Alexander-kins is original, Clean, never displayed or played with. She has no box so she is ready to display. What a cute and fancy little Alexander-kins Wendy.
