Madame Alexander Dolls

Vintage 1950′s hard plastic Annabelle doll by Madame Alexander. Doll is 14 with Maggie face and sleep eyes, intact full lashes, dark blonde hair is in original set and clothing is all original. Dress front has very minor fading, tag on dress came loose when I was undressing her for photos and I have re-attached it. I don’t think the petticoat is original to her but she came to me with it and it flares out skirt nicely. The Annabelle book is a lovely signed 1st edition in beautiful condition except for the back inside cover which someone once drew a grid and numbers on (in pencil). Doll has no bad odors or marks, questions welcome.

Vintage 1952 14 Madame Alexander Hard Plastic Annabelle Doll (Kate Smith’s Daughter) Maggie Face in Original Costume. Adorable blonde, unmarked Annabelle doll from Madame Alexander with pretty facial paint, original synthetic wig, working sleep eyes, thick, brush lashes, painted eyebrows, bright cheek blush and closed mouth. Good condition torso, arms, legs, fingers and toes. Jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Made of hard plastic. Strung tightly – she can stand and pose. She is wearing her tagged one piece white cotton blouse and skirt combination, turquoise sweater with embroidered “Annabelle” across the front, vintage bow decorated, pink cotton slip with attached panties, replaced nylon socks and vintage black shoes. Good, played with condition. Face paint is original and good. Working sleep eyes with thick, brush lashes. Original, synthetic wig re-set in original curls. Strung tightly she can hold a pose. Perfect fingers and toes. Plastic, skin tone is clear – free of large stains, cracks gouges or bites. Dress and sweater are original and in good played with condition. Slip and panty combo appears to be a Madame Alexander replacement. Shoes are vintage replacements. Socks and hair ribbon are new replacements. Marked: Tag on blouse. This doll is pre-owned, but in very good condition overall. The dress has faded a bit, but the doll itself looks great. Please see all pictures. Thanks for your interest!! Madame Alexander Margo ballerina doll, 14 size. She is wearing her original, tagged dress and panties. Gold shoes are appropriate replacements. Her wig is very nice and d she has her original spread barrette. Vintage flowers adorn her hair and dress. No damage to netting or dress itself. Face has nice color. She has nylon hose.

Up for your consideration is a 19″ Madame Alexander “Maggie Face Alice in Wonderland doll. If you are, please zoom in on the photos to see all you will get in this lot and a better idea of condition. Next thing to mention is, this doll is coming from my mom’s estate. So whatever I mention here in the description is by sight, not knowledge of ownership. The doll is not marked. This is a strung doll, and it will need to be restrung. She has green sleep eyes, that open and close a little slow in my opinion. I suspect they need cleaning. Her hair is glued on, and appears in good condition. I can’t quite tell if her lip color is original or if it’s been touched up? If it’s been touched up, the original owner did a very good job. Her dress and apron are original to her. They both are tagged. There is yellowing or staining from age? I’m not sure what causes that? Her undies may be original, but for the sake of this listing, I’ll say they are vintage. Her socks and shoes are not original. There are surface body scuffs that you would expect to find on a used vintage doll. This doll and clothes will need a general cleaning. It’s coming to you exactly as I found it in my mom’s never ending pile of “treasures”. Doll stand not included. Her hair seems to be a little messy on the back. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Minor scratches/marks are present to all of her plastic parts. Her outfit is tagged. Stains and holes are present.
