Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig. Handmade one-of-a-kind lavender silk rose dress. Petticoat, lavender ankle tie high heels, panties. Original vintage hat with matching flower trim and vintage hat pin. Rhinestone earrings, pearl and rhinestone necklace. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig tied and pulled back at the side with curls on top and long curls at the back of the neck. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone tear drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She has a vintage pearl necklace with a rhinestone bow drop. She is wearing a fabulous handmade custom gown, it has a label inside, it is vintage 1970-80′s. The gown is lavender silk with handmade and sewn rolled lavender silk roses, they have raw fringed edges and cover the entire gown. The dress snaps in back and has a large silk bustle back bow. The front is ruched and gathered, accented with rosettes. Is a very full layered taffeta and tulle petticoat with lace trim, this is an Alexander slip. She has white lace panties and lavender molded plastic high heels with ankle straps. The hat is vintage 50′s straw trimmed with matching lavender flowers and ribbons, it has a vintage copper hat pin with a lavender blown glass top. Minor rubs from age in the joints and neck and a tiny few fly aways on the hair, there are some minor rough edges on the tips of the. Noticeable unless very closely inspecting. Dress has a loose stitch under one arm hole. Not a rip, just missing stitches. Dress has original tag. Comes with blue formal slip. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. Cissy is clean and has no odors, stains, splits or cracks or repairs to such. She has been newly restrung to head and arms. She has nice arms with no rips in the socket area or issues with her fingers. Her hair has been cleaned and reset. Her original wig is full and shiny with no cuts or trims. Her lips have been repainted and blush was added. A matte protective finish was applied to her face. She has no earring holes. She has beautiful blue eyes. Both eyes have had some lash fill in. She stands and posses fine. Right leg is a little loose at the hip, but it is attached inside of body and is not swingy. Just a lovely girl! Cissy is wearing a reproduction black cocktail dress. It is made from new, lovely black silk taffeta. The bodice is lined with black organdy. The skirt is 8″ long with a 2″ hand stitched hem. The waist is serged. The skirt is a full 65 circle when laid out. There are 5 original black square snaps going down the back and the front is adorned with an original gold brooch. Under her dress she wears her original pink can can slip with pink rick rack trim. Also her original panties. Both slip and panties have been hand laundered and new elastic inserted at the waist. She wears her original nylons in very nice condition, silver diamond studded bracelet, and diamond ring. She has a replacement hang tag and a new lucite purse made in the original fashion with black velvet straps and flower adornment. Inside the purse is a vintage plastic lipstick and a metal can of rouge. Stand and chair are not included. This listing will end on Sunday, August 18th.
