Beautiful rare Joanie Doll – Vintage – Madame Alexander doll 36 PlayPal size. Joanie is a beautiful girl dressed in her nurses uniform. This outfit is not original but is of high quality fabric and style. She has flirty blue/green eyes and good coloring. Her hair is wavy and is a strawberry blonde color. She is in good shape for her age, she is tight, stands alone with no odor. She does have a faint line running down her stomach and left leg which I believe is from the factory where she was made. This is not noticeable with clothes on. I have priced her accordingly due to this flaw. Madame Alexander 35 Nurse Joanie doll 1960, Beautiful Flirt Eyes, Repro Dress. This HTF Madame Alexander Nurse Joanie is a must have for any doll collector. She watches over the baby (dolls) you may own. Nurse Joanie is so adorable while doing it. She has a sweet face with original face paint She has open and close flirt eyes. She has short hair on the sides and longer in the back. It may have been cut but Im not sure. She has a discolored leg. It is a darker yellow leg, she came to me that way. Her dress is a reproduction but I believe her apron is original. She comes from a smoke free home and an animal free environment. Please use photos as part of the description. She has normal play wear marks because she is a vintage doll. Thank you for looking. Up for your viewing is a 36in 1959 Alexander play pal size doll named Joanie. She is in fair condition needing some TLC with scuffs and marks throughout the body mostly on her arms. A little pink mark on her chin. Her arms are a bit loose, the right arm being more loose than the left. They cannot hold into position when reaching out fully. There is something rattling inside the doll probably one of the joint band parts. I brushed her hair and gave a quick wipe down, that is it. Hair is in decent condition but does have matting on the inside layer towards the back. These are normal clothes I used from my 2 year old daughter and I will include them. Dress is a bit worn. Shoes have some wear and dirt. Doll doesn’t have any mildew smells. Row of hair plugs missing on the back neck. 2 hair plugs missing near the ear. The lighting outside was really good and I admit the pictures turned out probably better than she is. For a 1959 doll though I think she looks nice. Please note in the nude photo her upper right leg it looks like a crack in the picture but it is just a hair that was stuck on. If I have time i’ll retake those shots. She’ll make a wonderful playmate for your Patti PlayPal, Betsy, Linda & Sandy McCall and similar size dolls with her adorable looks and friendly features which include big round, FLIRTY sleep eyes with original long, curly eyelashes, cute little “pug” nose, blushed cheeks and closed smiling mouth. 1959 on her neck, she has thickly rooted, beautiful short curly, brown hair with curly bangs, (no hair cut and no missing plugs) swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and hips and wears an adorable, replaced polished cotton, sailor dress with navy blue trim, attached petticoat, sailor collar and navy blue bow and wide sash, matching sailor hat with grosgrain band and ribbon trim, cotton under shirt and panties, white shoes and socks. Stands well, her joints work smoothly and she is in excellent, very clean condition with no cracks, no ink marks or stains, no repairs and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. Her eyes “flirt” to both sides and her head turns correctly. She is a very good quality and heavy doll with walker mechanism. All other dolls, animals and toys are.
