Madame Alexander Nurse Joanie Doll Ashton Drake Galleries Repro Playpal 33. This is my Nurse Joanie reproduction from Ashton Drake Galleries. She is one of the best to come out of the reproductions in the early 2000s. She just has the sweetest face and such high color. She comes in her original box but the previous owner cut the box up so it’s got a replacement front. It’s also got the inside sleeve that holds her but it’s not in the best shape and was missing one cardboard sleeve to hold her legs in place as well as the plastic cover. I have secured her and used bubble wrap instead. She still has her hang tags but the elastic has given out over so many years. She also doesn’t have a certificate. The doll herself is in great condition and I didn’t notice any flaws. She has her signature hat, pin watch, and white shoes. She also has an under slip that makes her skirt poofy which I love. Beautiful rare Joanie Doll – Vintage – Madame Alexander doll 36 PlayPal size. Joanie is a beautiful girl dressed in her nurses uniform. This outfit is not original but is of high quality fabric and style. She has flirty blue/green eyes and good coloring. Her hair is wavy and is a strawberry blonde color. She is in good shape for her age, she is tight, stands alone with no odor. She does have a faint line running down her stomach and left leg which I believe is from the factory where she was made. This is not noticeable with clothes on. I have priced her accordingly due to this flaw. Vintage Doll Madame Alexander 36 1959 Playpal Type JANIE Strawberry Blonde Hair! She is marked, “Alexander 36 1959″ on the back of her head. Looks like there is a marking on the body, but hard to read. The head has lightened in color from the body and one leg is lighter than the other. Other than that, I do not see much wrong with her. A hard to find doll in very nice condition. Clean, no stains, rubs or discoloring. Blue sleep eyes with the longest of lashes that are full and curled up on the ends. Hair has no cuts or missing plugs. All jointed vinyl at the neck, arms, wrists, waist and ankles. Strung just right so she is easy to pose. All original tagged “Alexander Mimi” outfit that has no stains, fading or holes. Original sandals with a break in one strap on the right sandal and that one has the sole that is separated from the shoe. Just needs some glue. Original woven straw hat with all its flower appliques. Up for your viewing is a 36in 1959 Alexander play pal size doll named Joanie. She is in fair condition needing some TLC with scuffs and marks throughout the body mostly on her arms. A little pink mark on her chin. Her arms are a bit loose, the right arm being more loose than the left. They cannot hold into position when reaching out fully. There is something rattling inside the doll probably one of the joint band parts. I brushed her hair and gave a quick wipe down, that is it. Hair is in decent condition but does have matting on the inside layer towards the back. These are normal clothes I used from my 2 year old daughter and I will include them. Dress is a bit worn. Shoes have some wear and dirt. Doll doesn’t have any mildew smells. Row of hair plugs missing on the back neck. 2 hair plugs missing near the ear. The lighting outside was really good and I admit the pictures turned out probably better than she is. For a 1959 doll though I think she looks nice. Please note in the nude photo her upper right leg it looks like a crack in the picture but it is just a hair that was stuck on. If I have time i’ll retake those shots. VERY RARE 35″ Madame Alexander Vinyl “Janie Playpal Doll From 1959 , Gorgeous Doll in Her original Outfit from 1959. Beautiful Doll gorgeous Coloring as seen in photo’s, which were all taken outside! Pen and close eyes all eyelashes. Her arms will only pose in high up position and down position as seen in photo’s, So arms move loosely. She will need a stand to stand. One leg is a little tighter moving then the other. She is 62 Years old so she has some Minor scuffing any fine scuffs can be helped with Magic eraser or fine sanding paper. She has some marks on her hinny as seen in photo 8 may come off with the Magic Eraser. I tried to get her dress off to take a photo of her front but as I tried her dress is 62 yrs old I put a small little tear with my finger in back of dress hidden by her hair as seen in last photo. So i figured leave well enough alone.. She is a Gorgeous Rare Doll with Beautiful , coloring and seems to be very well taken care of.
