MADAME ALEXANDER’HARD PLASTIC’ DOLL -”ALICE IN WONDERLAND”. What a Splendid doll. Looks to be all original This doll does not appear to have been redone in any way. She would be a stand out in any doll collection. Jointed Neck, Arms, Legs; Wig; Blue Sleep Eyes with Lashes; Closed Mouth. Early hard plastic doll; she is dressed in her original outfit of a light pink dress. An apron or is over the dress. Leggings and black shoes. On the back of the dress, on the outside, is the tag which reads: “Alice in Wonderland”, Madame Alexander, NY USA. The dress and pinafore have wrinkled and I doubt that they were ever washed – and I have not washed them now. The pinafore has yellowed. Her face is the “Maggie” mold beautiful and framed with golden blonde original wig; the top part of her hair is pulled back in a ponytail with bow. She is approximately 17 inches tall. She has jointed head, arms and legs with beautiful blue sleep eyes and full intact lashes – gorgeous eyes! This is a beautiful example of an early Alice in Wonderland Doll with Maggie face with original wig and clothes. I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age. I’m always willing to take additional photos or answered detailed questions. I will not end listings early for any reason so please do not ask. The Madame Alexander 8″ Halloween Gift Set features two 8″ girl dolls, Maggie and Wendy, with orange and green straight hair styled for Halloween. These artist dolls from the Madame Alexander franchise were manufactured in 2006 and come without packaging. Each doll has a light complexion, brown eyes, and is of Caucasian ethnicity. This original set includes a doll perfect for adding to a doll playset or for Halloween gifting. No box, but still attached to cardboard and nets on hair. These are pre-owned, but never played with it used. In excellent pre-owned condition, new, BUT not in the original box. Great set of dolls, minus the original box.

This is a beautiful example of a. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander “Maggie” doll. Alexander dolls from this era are highly collectible, known for their high-quality hard plastic construction, expressive faces, and elaborate clothing. Her outfit was hand-made by noted doll maker Harriet Wolford in the 1990s. The “Maggie” face, introduced in the late 1940s and popular through the 1950s. It features chubby cheeks, large blue sleeping eyes (with real upper lashes and painted lower ones), a closed mouth with rosy lips, and a sweet, wide-eyed innocent expression. Many collectors adore this mold for its charming, childlike look-distinct from the earlier “Margaret” face (which is similar but slightly different) or the more glamorous “Cissy” face. Blonde wavy mohair wig with bangs and a ribbon bow. Hard plastic, jointed (at neck, shoulders, and hips), a “walker” body that allows the head to turn side-to-side when the legs move. The pink sheer organdy dress with lace trim, ruffled layers, puffed sleeves, and dotted underskirt is a classic 1950s Madame Alexander style. The white crocheted socks and black patent Mary Jane shoes are also period-appropriate accessories. Primarily produced in the early to mid-1950s. Maggie dolls were often unmarked or minimally marked, made in the USA.

Freckled face red haired braided pigtails doll with a green dress red shawl, red velvet gloves and elf shoes, she has her pixie companions of hard plastic, (packed in Styrofoam). RARE, HARD TO FIND.

Absolutely beautiful 20 Maggie has the most beautiful wide-eyed face I’ve seen on a doll produced from 1945 to 1952. Her hair is simply untouched perfection and her features have the original and fresh high color they had the day she was removed from her box by some very lucky child. She wears her original tagged dress and bloomers of a blue and white print that Madame used on other dolls during those years. I have added a petticoat edged with white ricrac. Her socks are clean and her faux suede red shoes are in very good condition. I added her red hair bow that matches the dress’s original belt as well as her shoes. Her walking mechanism works perfectly and her head moves side-to-side as her legs move back-and-forth. Except for some slight fading of the dress which is uniform front-to-back, Maggie looks nearly brand-new. The only way you realize there has been fading is if you take peek at her bloomers whose same print retains its original brightness. Maggie has no unfavorable hard plastic odor and would just love to come to your house! This is number 618, Maggie Mixup dressed up as a n angel. We are the original owners, it has been in storage for a very long time. Hardly played with, it is in mint condition in all respects. Eyes still open/close as they did 60 years ago. No stains are rips. In addition, as a special treat we are including the original Madame Alexander brochure that came with the doll. The brochure has some creases but there are no tears and is in good shape. It lists the dolls in the collection at that time.
