Vintage 1950′s hard plastic 17 Alice in Wonderland doll with original blue and white fine checkered dress and white pinafore. She is unmarked and the dress is not tagged. She is a Madame Alexander with Margarete face. I have found similar variations of this dress and pinafore but not exactly the same. She is in “good” pre-owned condition. Her hair has been trimmed at one time. Undies, shoe and socks are replacements. Dress and pinafore are original. I have not washed or ironed her clothes. Available are two lovely Madame Alexander dolls, a boy and girl, I believe from the very early Friends from Foreign Lands collection. Both are dressed in their original clothing with hats, socks and shoes. The clothing is in good condition, some fading. Both have tags that read SWISS Madame Alexander, N. Each doll has its original blond mohair wig. They are made of composition in good, although not perfect condition Please see the photos for details. Both are marked on the back. This beautiful Winnie Walker doll stands 25 inches tall and is waiting to walk into her new home. She has her original tagged outfit on complete with shoes, socks, coat and hat, with red dress and matching panties. The coat has a spot of wear, (see picture), and her felt hat has a moth hole, and the red dress seems to have a stain. Really not bad for her age. Her cheeks still have a good blush, and her eyes are bright, and lashes are full. She still walks well with her moving from side to side when she walks. Vintage 1948 Madame Alexander Margaret Face doll. Tosca hair, stitched part. Wearing tagged original dress. Original black side snap shoes. Presented here is a fabulous 1948 Madame Alexander Margaret face doll. She has Tosca or light brown- light reddish hair. With a stitched part wig, still in the original lovely curls, smooth with a nice sheen, excellent wig. The blue eyes open and close freely, full upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. The doll is all hard plastic, good strings, holds a pose well, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress made of fine cotton, it is a floral print of roses and violets with attached ivory slip, buttons on the front, full circle skirt. The petticoat has buckram inside the hem. The clothing is excellent with crisp body, no stains, no tears, clean, sturdy. Underneath she has her original linen pantaloons with eyelet lace hem and blue bows. Her shoes are shinny black. With side snaps, front bows. She has her original rayon socks. Vintage Madame Alexander Margaret face bride 14 doll. The doll is wearing a wedding gown with satin bodice, puffy tulle sleeves, two tiered tulle skirt over taffeta petticoat, panties, stockings, satin slippers, bouquet in right hand, woven embroidered cap with flower and leaf. The doll is in excellent condition, the dress needs some cleaning and has a small tear (see picture #11). Walking style body, head moves when walking. A wonderful vintage Madame Alexander doll, as pictured. Pre-owned and in good condition. Some gentle wear throughout from age, but no egregious flaws. Her’sleepy eyes’ seem to stick sometimes and need to be opened manually. The clothing is a bit wrinkled from storage, but I don’t notice any other issues. Adjustable at the hips, shoulders, and head/neck. Her pink dress has a “Madame Alexander” tag. The doll’s body does not have any markings. Comes with the “comb & curlers” box (with contents), and the other pictured accessories. Includes original box, which shows wear, rips/tears, etc. She stands 17-inches tall. Vintage 1950s 14 Madame Alexander Walking Bride Doll, Margaret Face Tagged Hard Plastic, head turns as she walks, stringing is good, dark blonde hair, blue eyes open and close. Has original veil, flower bouquet, panties (elastic stretched), and shoes. Wig is in very nice condition, does not seem to have been combed or altered, I do note that the front center of her wig looks like it should have some hair in the center, it looks thin in that spot, maybe the veil hat was attached in that area, IDK. Dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Veil is sort of mantilla style with tulle attached to a stiff lace headband, missing most of the flowers. It has a ribbon that is tied in the back of her hair. Veil has 1 pinhead size hole on top (photo). The tulle skirt has two layers in good condition. The top tulle layer has some age related discoloration but that is normal for its age and has a tear in the back where the snaps are and tear at the very bottom of the hemline in that area. The taffeta skirt is in very good condition, 1 layer of tulle over taffeta bodice and tulle puff sleeves. A previous owner added a second taffeta slip that is fastened by a safety pin in the back, it has a tulle hemline, I don’t believe it is original to this bride doll or Madame Alexander but it is there. Beautiful Binnie has high face coloring, no rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Factory styled wig with lots of curl. Walker mechanism works fine. There is a thin 1.5 seam crack on left side of lower leg which looks to be a factory flaw, as pictured. Original tagged dress is in nice, clean condition. Just a pin head size faded brown dot that is lost in the pleat on front of the dress. Dress and pinafore have all their buttons.
