This vintage Madame Alexander doll is a must-have for any collector. Measuring 15 inches in length, the Kate Greenway doll is made of composition material and dates back to the 1930s. She is beautiful and all original! There are some craze lines around her eyes and small marks on her composition here and there, but overall a really lovely example of this doll.

14 Madame Alexander 1950s H Plastic Kate Smith’s Annabelle Doll Tagged Costume. Sweet hard plastic Maggie faced doll by Madame Alexander. Pretty facial paint, working yellowed sleep eyes with thick lashes, Saran wig in the original set and original tagged Annabelle costume. Original All hard plastic jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Costume is all original and includes a blouse skirt combination, sweatshirt style over-blouse with her name embroidered on it, white cotton slip, panties, socks and oilcloth shoes. 1942 Madame Alexander Kate Greenaway Doll – 15 Hand Tag. Marks are Princess Elizabeth/Madame Alexander. Beautiful doll in htf condition with almost no crazing, gorgeous coloring, all lashes, clear blue eyes, and bright original mohair wig. She is wearing her original yellow dress that has a few holes one hidden by her arm and tiny ones here and there. Elastic in sleeves and underwear are great. Hat has a few thinning spots, ribbon is vintage and one feather is still remaining. She comes with her original gauntlets and Madame Alexander hand tag. One sock has hole and shoes are newer. Very rare, coveted & gorgeous Cissette Margot Klondike Kate Madame Alexander 9 inch hard plastic doll. This rare Cissette is from the 1962 Madame Alexander Vintage Collection. Klondike Kate was the show girl of the period of the Alaskan gold rush boom. She was created as an exclusive edition for FAO Schwarz in 1962. She is a MARGOT Cissette – the Margot line was only in production for two years so she is a rare model. Klondike Kate’s features are a socket movable head, elaborate upswept hairdo, blue eye shadow, black eyeliner, rosebud pink lips, and nailpolish. She is wearing a 3 strand pearl necklace (one has a clasp). No earrings but has a diamond ring and rhinestone bracelet. Her nails are painted a pretty rose pink. She is wearing a red velvet fitted style dress, a trimmer with matching nylon tulle and swirly braid. Very much like Miss Kitty saloon girl singer from the Gunsmoke show, also popular in this early 60s era. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander New York & is in Lovely condition. 4 square shaped snaps. She is Alexander model 761, 1962. Her brunette hair in a fancy updo has 4 red feather plumes. She has black lace and ruffled panties and stockings. She has the MADAME ALEXANDER imprint on her back, this can be seen in the photo. She is shown on pg. Her face is exquisite. Her sleepy eyes work beautifully. Her legs are jointed just above the knee and her arms move as well in ball and socket fashion. Now to the flaws: one part of one finger on her right hand is missing and her torso became stained from the black panties over the decades. There are many many replacement parts for MA dolls – so I believe finding a new right arm and replacing it will be fairly easy. Miss Kate has the MA lady torso shape. We offer for your consideration a lovely 14 unmarked Maggie face Annabelle doll with incredibly bright and unclouded eyes. Her hair is in the original upturned curl on the bottom style with the two sides swept up into her original barrette. Her coloring is even and true to her original beauty with nicely blushed cheeks and full and unfaded lips. She is stunning with her factory fresh, or close to it, tagged Annabelle, bright, unfaded, and issue free crisp white dress. The blue Annabelle blouse is lovely with no obvious issues or blemishes. The full slip under dress is flawless. Please note that the snap buttons on her slip are loose and will need resewn. The stockings are a fresh color, a little age on the ends, and they fold down nicely. Her side snap shoes are intact and displayable. Her panties are bright, white, and snap in the back. Her long off-white slip sparkles with freshness. Her eyes are highlighted with molded eyelashes, as well as individually painted lashes on the bottom sides of her eyes. Her face, torso, and limbs are hard plastic with five pieces. She is remarkable with her pink eyelids and lovely eyebrows. She is well strung and displays nicely on a doll stand. Her original elastic bands were removed and replaced with new elastic cording. Her head stays in place and does not droop. Her arms hold a pose very nicely. Her legs are nicely attached and tight. Her body and limbs are exceptionally clean, undamaged, and free of issues, or blemishes. She is a sleep eye doll, and her eyes open and close easily. Her fingernails are unfaded and bright. Her coloring is a matte suntanned appearance. She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through the 1970s. Her hair is full with no thinning areas. The wig is well attached, and it may cover a Madame Alexander marking on her neck. She has no markings on her back or neck, which seems how Maggie face dolls were made. Please look at the photos for further visual image of her condition. Here for your consideration is a 9-1/2 Madame Alexander doll called Klondike Kate. She is a beauty from 1963 in the Cissette style. She is a fabulous blue eyed brunette and her face coloring is beautiful and bright. She has jointed knees and is in very good condition for her age. Her hair is in its original set with red feather decoration. Her gorgeous dress is red velvet and is tagged and in very good condition. She is wearing nylons with a seam up the back. Her original earrings that have 5 little rhinestones in them. On her hand she has a shining diamond ring. I was asked about staining on her body… There is very faint pink staining along her sides from her dress. There is no black staining because somebody at one point replaced her black underwear with white ones. Perhaps saved her from unsightly marks. She appears to be missing a few items… Namely her necklace, barrette, shoes, hangtag and box. She does come with a custom stand that I thought shows her off nicely. Still an amazing showpiece!
