Madame Alexander Dolls

Madame Alexander 14 Mystery Dance doll w/ box, papers. She’s from a MA adult collector and may have been display at sometime. She’s in great shape and has been stored in her box for years. The back of her dress is a little wrinkled but that’s it. I won’t iron this but it will come back to shape. I see no stains, or holes in netting. Her hair had a hair net on and I removed it for the photos. The box is in good shape but you can tell something was set on top of it. It’s pushed down just a bit but no tears in corners or anything else major. Happy to send additional photos. 1942 Madame Alexander Kate Greenaway Doll – 15 Hand Tag. Marks are Princess Elizabeth/Madame Alexander. Beautiful doll in htf condition with almost no crazing, gorgeous coloring, all lashes, clear blue eyes, and bright original mohair wig. She is wearing her original yellow dress that has a few holes one hidden by her arm and tiny ones here and there. Elastic in sleeves and underwear are great. Hat has a few thinning spots, ribbon is vintage and one feather is still remaining. She comes with her original gauntlets and Madame Alexander hand tag. One sock has hole and shoes are newer. Marisa is a beautiful doll sculpted by Hildegard Gunzel as part of the 1991 collection made for Madame Alexander. She has been hand signed on her shoulder plate in the back as shown in the photograph. Marisa is about 25 inches tall with a vinyl head and shoulder plate and ¾ length vinyl limbs on a cloth body that has an armature in the arms. She has blue eyes and a blonde wig. Marisa came to us from an adult collector who had her on display. She is in good condition but her hair collected dust and her navy blue jacket faded in the sunlight while on display. We felt she looked a little dated as well, so we changed her wig and redressed her. She is now wearing a new custom hand made ballerina dress with silk ribbon embroidered roses with pearl accents. She is also wearing new My Twinn mary janes with added pink roses and a lovely headband. We are including her original outfit and wig with her as well. We also have her navy coat and cap, and will send them as well if you like, but they are not in very good condition and do have major fading. Also included with Marisa is her COA and a Hildgard Gunzel catalog that includes her. We do offer lay-a-way or delayed payments under certain circumstances.
