1942 Madame Alexander Kate Greenaway Doll – 15 Hand Tag. Marks are Princess Elizabeth/Madame Alexander. Beautiful doll in htf condition with almost no crazing, gorgeous coloring, all lashes, clear blue eyes, and bright original mohair wig. She is wearing her original yellow dress that has a few holes one hidden by her arm and tiny ones here and there. Elastic in sleeves and underwear are great. Hat has a few thinning spots, ribbon is vintage and one feather is still remaining. She comes with her original gauntlets and Madame Alexander hand tag. One sock has hole and shoes are newer. This 17 KATE SMITHS 1950′s ANNABELLE is BY MADAME ALEXANDER. She is all original except for one shoe. Dress and slip are in very nice shape but tag was cut off. Panties are original but a piece of the lace trim was stitched back on. Hair needs styling as shown. Bangs are sticking up. Red bow is original but dirty. No cracks or odors. This charming Kate Greenaway doll was the centerpiece doll for the 2006 MADC Williamsburg convention Lets Talk Dolls event. Very hard to find, in her pretty pale pink dress with white accent trim and white straw hat she looks like she just stepped out of a Kate Greenaway illustration. Limited edition of 75 dolls.
