Madame Alexander Dolls

She is a very hard to find early Cissette in what I consider mint condition. She is costumed in a beautiful red velvet gown with red net trim. She wears a red feather head piece in her hair. She comes with her original gold wrist tag with: Klondike on it. Her costume is tagged: Madame Alexander. This doll is in my estimation in excellent condition as these dolls were made in the late 60′s-early 70′s. She is in unplayed with condition and has been packed away for many years. I do not always know the makers or artists of any of these items and dolls except some of them may have a bit of age to them. Many of these items will range from one-of-a-kind to just generic type miniatures. This is a 14″, Vintage, Near Mint In box, Madame Alexander “Annabelle by Kate Smith with her wrist tag. She is simply adorable!! Her blonde hair is Shiny, smooth and in original set— with the sides pulled up with a hair bar and large original aqua Bow sitting on top. Her little Maggie face and coloring are fantastic. She wears a crisply tagged BRIGHT white dress with Peter Pan collar and white ric-rac trim. Her original, bright “Annabelle” sweater is in lovely condition as well, and closes in the back with square snaps. Her slip, panties and socks are still white as well. Her black, side-snap, patented leather shoes are so cute with still very fuzzy soles. Her box is still in decent shape. She comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home. This charming Kate Greenaway doll was the centerpiece doll for the 2006 MADC Williamsburg convention Lets Talk Dolls event. Very hard to find, in her pretty pale pink dress with white accent trim and white straw hat she looks like she just stepped out of a Kate Greenaway illustration. Limited edition of 75 dolls.
