RARE Vintage Madame Alexander Jacqueline Kennedy Doll in Tagged Clothes. This hard to find Collectors Doll is in excellent condition. She is 21 tall, made of hard plastic, and dressed in her original tagged clothing from the 1961 Presidential Inauguration. She features dark neatly curled hair and sleepy clear brown eyes with bright blue shadow. She has painted corner lashes as well as a full set of real lashes. Her features are beautifully painted. I love the pale pink lipstick. Her coloring and finish are exquisite. She has all of her fingers and toes, and they are nicely painted. All of her joints move as they should. Her eyes open and close perfectly. She is dressed in her original satin cream strapless gown with Pearl trim and her matching floor length cape. Her clothes feature the original tag and are in excellent condition. They are free from holes, tears and odors. The only stain is a very small spot near the bottom of her cape. The cape and gown are trimmed in elaborate Pearl beading. Underneath she is wearing her original slip/petticoat, panties and thigh high stockings. They are in beautiful condition with no runs or stains. Her shoes are white plastic and NOT original. She does have all of her original jewelry including a large emerald ring, 2 chandelier earrings, a double strand rhinestone bracelet and a pearl necklace. All jewelry is in great condition except that one earring is missing the center rhinestone. Also included is her original Pearl beaded handbag, which unfortunately has a broken strap. The original beads from the strap are included if you would like to repair it. Doll is in pristine condition with NO cracks or blemishes. Caroline Kennedy By Madame Alexander 1960. This set is in excellent pre-owned condition, the doll doesn’t appear to have been “played with” and comes with everything pictured. The trunk has minor scuffs and the metal shows some discoloration, the metal bracket on inside of trunk door to hang the outfits on has come off but is included if you want to repair. (I have 2 listed) 1961 MADAME ALEXANDER Portrait Jacqueline KENNEDY doll. First Lady to the beloved JFK. A Vintage beauty for sure. Exceptional condition with her original Box! She is not completely mint? No cracks or seam splits. Clear brown eyes with full lashes sleep well. Complete facial features and nice original coloring & eye shadow! Hair is full and rooted in her signature style. She has her original diamond ring, bracelets, pearl necklaces, the purse & earrings! Her gown is tagged. Her outfit consists of the original dress, opera coat, crinoline slip, panties, hose and original high heel shoes. The outfit is completely intact, and there are no seam issues. Hose & shoes are good. There are a couple small spots on the coat. (pictured) She is a beautiful representation of this doll and HTF in almost mint condition like this one. This little gal, who was short lived in production, is in her entirely original dress, shoes, socks, underwear, underdress, and bow. When I found her, she had the original hairnet around her face but it was disintegrating so it was removed. Her bow is factory pinned. Though she was likely never played with, time has aged her outfit: there is rust on the buttons of her underdress, the elastic is gone on her underwear, her dress is faded and not vibrant, her bow has foxing from the hairnet, and there are traces of foxing on her outfit and shoes. Her original hang tag is also faded but you can still make out Caroline. Her hair is perfect and not missing any plugs. There is a small mark on her back. She holds her poses and limbs are tight. Within the community there are many who are apprehensive or skeptical of antique dealers, while most of us are simply trying to run a small business or fund our own collections. Once you are a dealer, you will understand that this community is small and most long-timers don’t intentionally harm buyers. And it is a JOB. JACKIE’S TRAVEL COLLECTION. Low limited edition number. This breathtaking Jackie Doll has been restrung so you wont have to worry about her falling apart. I used a saddle stand (not included) to photograph her and you can see in the pictures how wonderful she stands without falling over at the waist or her neck. She is in excellent, clean, odor free condition. Her face and arms are not sticky or shiny, knees bend great. She does not have her pearl necklace, otherwise she is complete. Stand is NOT included.
