This is Rosamund Bridesmaid by Madame Alexander in 1951. The description in my reference book for this doll follows: Dressed in frothy gown of net, bound with satin and satin bodice. Two fluffy skirts cascade to her feet over an underdress to match. Trimmed with satin streamers and rosebuds. Her head dress is straw lace with rosettes of pink rosebuds over each ear. (clothes did come in assorted colors). This reference is in Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls ed. My doll seems to be complete even though I’m at least the second owner. She has the most beautiful color of hair- almost an auburn brunette. Most importantly- NO HARD PLASTIC ODOR! At sometime she did have something pinned to her dress so you will see the small indentations on the bodice. She is really a gorgeous doll! Please feel free to ask questions! She comes in a Wendy-kins box. The box is decent but rough. Her outfit is tagged with an embroidered tag on back. There are no holes, tears, or stains on clothes. She has outstanding coloring and is a bent knee walker, Her walker works great and is smooth. She poses and holds position. I do not see anything wrong with her. She has her original arm tag. She has a blond single stitch wig and eyes flutter nicely. A very clean handsome looking doll for the collector. This 25 inch hard plastic Winnie Walker doll was made by Madame Alexander in 1953. All original tagged outfit green background with pink roses throughout the dress , pink sleeves and collar with green rick-rack, matching pink felt hat, pink center snap shoes with cream socks which has holes in them, cream color slip with snaps in the back, and matching panties with a snap closure. The outfit has no tears, rips, or holes in it. Rosy red lips, full lashes, blue eyes, her head moves from side to side, painted eyebrows, glued on wig in its original set. There are no cracks on her body. The walking mechanism works great. A beautiful Cissy face. Her flaws are: her arms are faded due to sun light, her lashes stick close (but will open easily with help), and she has marks on her body I believe they are from a metal doll stand.
