VHTF Margaret Rose Bridesmaid in pink. She measures approximately 14 tall, sleep eyes work fine with all lashes, and the stringing is tight enough to hold a pose. Her mohair wig is in good shape; however, it is a little mussed-the original flowers are intact. Her dress and shoes are in TLC/POOR condition. I bought her a couple of years ago, and the dress was very tattered and really dirty almost brown! I was able to clean it, but I’m no seamstress, so I couldn’t fix all of the condition issues. She has remained in my collection until I finally found another that was mint. I’m hoping she will go to the next home where she can finally get a new dress and shoes! This doll is absolutely gorgeous! She has beautiful hair & a pretty face. She is unmarked but I believe her to be Madame Alexander – everything included came with her whhen I received her. She comes with a lot of rare accessories although everything needs cleaning, her shoes are TLC & her necklace needs repair. She displays nicely but she does have an old wooden truck odor & her eyes are sticky & sometimes needing help opening. I did not clean any of this due to the rare & fragile nature, I decided to leave that up to the new owner. Please feel free to message with any questions. Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander-Kins Wendy As Bridesmaid #408 First Place Award 2019. She won first place at the 2019 Madame Alexander Doll Club Convention. She is wearing a tagged Swiss dotted dress, slip, panties, white socks, fuzzy bottom shoes and a straw hat with flowers and tulle. The dress is beautiful! Hat is in amazing. Doll is in overall very good condition. She does have a light paint rub on her cheek as shown. Gown, panties, slip and socks have normal age discoloration, but are overall good. Shoes have minor toe rubbing. There is a tiny seam split pictured. Clean, odor free, smoke free home, no other accessories unless shown. She is good vintage condition for her age. Her face up is original with vivid coloring. There are some light discolorations on her face. Her body is restrung. She is wearing the original tagged vintage Pink Bridesmaid polka dots dress. Her faux diamonds earrings are original, pearls necklace and flowers headpiece are replacement. She is wearing white panty, knee length underskirt which elastic has stretched, pink panty hose with some holes and a pair of silver spike heels which elastic also have stretched out. She is vintage good condition and rare. She is a walker. Her head will turn when her legs move. However, her legs joints are loose and not very tight. She is missing her floral headpiece. The hat is replacement. Her dress is original and tagged. I’m not sure about her panty and stockings are original or not. Her shoes look like replacement too. Perfect hair set in factory style with floral headpiece. Vivid facial coloring, no splits or cracks. She comes with the Bridemaids clear purse and handkerchief, stockings, pearl bracelets, and strap heels. She has her tagged dress and pink sash. The netting on the dress has tears in it, including on the front a rather large one, and in the back there is a rip in the dress that has been stitched. 13″ Vintage Madame Alexander HP “Rosamund Bridesmaid Doll – 1951. This beautiful, hard to find, (most likely) never played with, hard plastic doll is Madame Alexander’s Rosamund Bridesmaid. ” She was made in 1951 only and is 13″ tall. She has a Maggie/Margaret face and is a walker. Her head turns as you move her legs. Her dress is 2 layers of pink netting – top is tulle, over a layer which is a little heavier than tulle, all over pink taffeta. The bodice is pink tulle over pink taffeta with cap sleeves and a ruffled sweetheart neckline. There is a small bunch of pink flowers at her waist. On her head is a wide band, that has a bunch of pink flowers on each side. Rosamund has pink satin panties, nylon stockings and center snap silk shoes. Her blonde hair is in excellent condition. I see a couple of bobby pins in the back of her hair. She is all original. No markings, which is not unusual for an Alexander doll in this era. Her face is beautiful. I see a small mark on each side of her face near her eyebrows. I see no rubs to her cheeks. Her cheeks are high color, and blue eyes with long dark lashes. Her name was inspired by the book entitled ROSAMUND by Maria Edgeworth. No box, no tags. She appears to never been undressed so I will sell her this way. Her dress is in excellent crisp condition without holes or rips in the netting or material. The pink slip has some light discoloration in a some spots and the bottom could be steamed. I will let the new owner do that if it’s necessary. She displays beautifully as is. I’ve not washed her face or arms. I will be happy to send additional photos and or answer questions. 1953 Strung 8 Brunette Alexander-Kin Bridesmaid High Color! She is so pretty! This doll is as-found wearing a near mint 1953 Bridesmaid dress but no hat or bouquet. She has blue eyes that open and close easily, full brows brows and a pouty mouth. She has wonderful rosy cheeks with no rubs. She has been re-strung and her body is clean with no stains, splits or repairs. The dress is tagged and she wears her correct long pantalets and a long Alexander-Kin half slip. I noticed that the lace is different on the slip and undies. Her shoes are very scuffed with fuzzy soles and sturdy snaps topped with correct rayon socks. If you are looking for a beautiful 1953 doll she is a stand out. No odors and from a non-smoking home.
