This Cissy is gorgeous, and one of only two hundred made. She has hazel eyes and auburn hair and her knees and elbow bend. She has the most amazing dress lace netting embroidered with aurora borealis sequins and pearls. Her dress is long and ends in an amazing train. She wears matching jeweled earrings and necklace. She has a fur stole that can be draped over her shoulders. She wears heeled gold shoes. Her coloring is bright and fresh, featuring bright red lipstick and a black beauty mark. Her only flaw is a dark spot on her nose. I have not tried to remove or lighten and it looks like someone tried to paint over it. I’m sure a doll lover can find a way to disguise it. She comes from a non-smoking home.

Circa 1950′s, this Madame Alexander Elise is wearing her original gold ballerina outfit. She is in great condition with original wig and accessories. She is jointed at knees and ankles as well as elbows. All joints bend as expected. Eyes sleep with no missing lashes. A few scuffs to the ballerina shoes and a tiny hole in one nylon. Fine once she is positioned. No cracks or splits. Wig still has spreader bar.

Of all the SONJA HENIE Dolls I have looked at, I think this doll captures her likeness the best. 18 Tall composition Sonja Henie Doll is wearing a Red Velvet Dress with Gold sequined trim and Gold. She has Blond eyelashes, pretty Red lips and little White teeth. Her hair is still set with pins and has. Out or played with. Her Brown eyes open and close easily. Left eye is a little cloudy. This was my Mother’s childhood. Doll that she played with in the year 1939! I do remember her telling me that she had. The nose and the right hand fingers professionally touched up. I see a fine little crack by her lower lip. I do see a very fine feather-line crack on. The front left leg see last pic. Her right skate is missing the blade but it still. Her arms and legs are attached well and operate like they should. For a Doll that is 84 years old – I think it is still in great vintage condition!
