Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a lovely bobbed hair blonde Cissy doll wearing the hard-to-find 1957 cornflower blue sundress with red rick rack trim and rhinestone accents. The dress is in very nice clean condition. It is tagged Cissy and from the tag it appears that the dress has likely been washed. There are no stains, holes, or tears in the dress and all of the snaps are secure and present. The left bodice bust seam is just showing the beginning of pulling apart right at the waist but with a quick safety stitch it can easily be fixed. The slip is an original MA rickrack edged cancan slip. It is not particularly stiff so I think it has been washed. The elastic is only slightly relaxed. The panties are original Cissy panties and the waist elastic is stretched. The stockings, high heels, and bracelet are replacements. The hat and purse are Richard Originals. Her hair is in really nice shiny condition. Her eyes are the most beautiful sky blue color. She has been reblushed, reshadowed, and sealed and her lips have been repainted. She has no seam splits. Her head has a tiny bit of a wobble when you shake her. This Cissy is a beautiful doll and ready to display. Doll stand not included. Large photos are shown of this doll so please check them all out. She has been a treasured and very nicely-preserved 11 Madame Alexander Scarlett OHara. TMade in 1939, her composition is in excellent condition. Only slight paint rubs detected at joint s. Her black mohair wig is shiny and soft and as it was when she was brand new. She is original from her wonderful straw hat to her shoes and socks. Her dress has retained vibrant color and has no area that is stained or torn. She has clear blue eyes and her lashes are full.
