Madame Alexander 1940s 14 Wendy Ann Composition Bride Doll. Her gown is tagged “Madame Alexander”. Wendy Ann wears her original white organza gown trimmed with white satin ribbon trim. The dress has an attached satin slip and underneath she wears original panties that do not appear to have ever been removed much like her stunning creamy leather mary janes and perfect socks. She also wears her original net wedding veil with lace edging and lily of the valley flowers. The dress and veil have a few issues. She is a straight leg non-walker and has amazingly bright face and body coloring. Her knees and hands both retain bright original blush. Her eyes are clear blue with full lashes. Her body and face do have crazing or cracks but no paint peeling. Her light brown or auburn wig is full and lovely but she has been given the Princess Leia treatment and has braided buns and braided bangs. These could be removed to restore her original curls but the braids are quite charming actually the way they are. In addition to her bridal ensemble, she came with a full slip that is beautifully made but doesn’t appear original. RARE Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY Rose Velvet Coat from 1955. BEAUTIFUL Hard to Find Cissy rose velvet coat from 1955!! This coat can be seen on page 111 of “Cissy Reference Raritites Restoration” by Kiley Ruwe Shaw. In the book she identifies the coat as being a boxed extra for that year. The coat is in good condition with no tears or odors. There are several tiny spots on the left side of the coat, and a few light crush marks in the nap of the velvet, both of which I tried to picture in the photos. The coat displays beautifully. The buttons and button holes are in great condition and do not show much if any wear. The color of the coat is vibrant and it has not faded with age. This is such a lovely coat that will look great on any Cissy doll! Smoke free, pet free home. Presented here is a beautiful Cissy from 1960s up for sale. She has a gorgeous red wig and big green blue eyes that open and close. She has big red luscious lips that are her original lips. Her eyelashes are Gorgeous. She has a crack on her left leg. She also has a large scratch right between her eyebrows. She is wearing a fabulous gown of light blue taffeta with an over skirt of white and silver metallic lace. It has prong Rhinestones around the scallop hem. The The bodice has a net/tulle stole around the neck and a cloth flower at the center. In has long taffeta streamers going down the back The dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Underneath is a matching petticoat with layers of net , a lace trimmed hem woven with matching blue satin ribbon. She wears white taffeta panties and silver high heel shoes. She is absolutely beautiful. I want to keep her in my own collection but my husband said what are you doing with all these dolls. So I have to let some go. White straw hat with pink velvet flowers, full veil, hat pins. Pink strappy high heels with flowers on the toes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig in short curls. She has green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. The eyes are beautiful with lighter green in the centers, sparkling bright. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s pink and white stripe dress with full A-line skirt, full sleeves, white cuffs and collar. The dress is not tagged, overall excellent condition, there is one tiny spot on the back of the bodice and one tiny rust spot on the skirt, hard to see either, the collar and cuffs may not be as white as they once were. She has the original taffeta slip with ruffled net flounce on the inside and out side of the hem, the elastic waist has been. The panties are matching taffeta they have repairs. The vintage hat is fabulous, white straw, shaped wide brim with pink velvet flowers and full white veil, hat pins. Adorable pink strappy high heels with rose buds on the toes, they are newer vintage. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with one piece vinyl arms. Stitched part tosca color wig in a fancy hair styled pulled up on the sides and tied with curls in the back. Green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has pearl drop earrings and a matching pearl necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful handmade dress that is original from the 1950′s, it is one-of-a-kind but not Alexander. The dress is sheer organdy with raised flocked tiny red dots, accented with bands of red satin ribbons and puffs in the back. Is a cotton slip with lace edge. She has lace panties and a white taffeta bra with lace and a bow in front. The shoes are original Cissy, black heels with red lining, black straps with. Molded bows, so cute! The vintage hat has a shaped wide brim, red straw, it has purple velvet pansies and blossoms, purple rayon ribbon. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, no notable damage. Madame Alexander CISSY DOLL 21 Stockings Shoes Teddy Chemise. Absolutely Stunning CISSY by Madame Alexander. This is a RARE original of the very first version of this doll, introduced in 1955. This first version had Cissys hairstyle in straight bangs, which was only available until 1958. Beginning in 1958 and thereafter, Cissy was only available with curly bangs. She comes in her original cream color lace Chemise, which has a small tear in the lace. This should be easily repairable, and I leave that to the purchaser. Cissys black high heels are in good condition, although the elastic is stretched out. This too can be remedied with a stitch taken to tighten the elastic. She also comes with a pair of nylon stockings, which have some soiling in a couple of spots. I have not tried to clean them. Otherwise, they are in excellent condition with no tears, runs, or holes. Cissy herself is in fabulous condition with just a few marks and area of light soiling as shown in the photos. Her limbs Ben as they should and she can hold a pose. She has no cracks, chips, peeling or breaks. She has all of her beautiful lashes. Her coloring is fabulous and her cheeks, hands and even her knees have retained their rosy highlights.
