Vintage Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in Fragile and Flowery Gown

This lovely gown, model 852, was presented as a “shadow” to the matching Cissy doll in 1958. Cissette has her original triple stitched blonde wig and gray blue sleep eyes with molded lashes. She has good color, painted nails, and a hard plastic body with no splits or cracks. Cissette wears the ivory satin and tulle gown with hand-painted pink and white flowers and leaves, appliqued flowers with rhinestone accents, scattered rhinestones, attached organdy underskirt, additional half-slip, taffeta panties, stockings, and gold heels. The delicate floral painting has faded in a few areas, but the gown displays beautifully. The elastic on the original gold heels is stretched and has been tacked at the back of each ankle. The Cissette doll was briefly displayed in the smoke-free home of an adult collector. Thank you for your interest. Please contact me with any questions.
