Madame Alexander Dolls

This is the “Child’s Dream Comes True” series. Her dress, crinoline, panties, stockings and floral crown are original. I have added flowers from a 1956 Alexander hat to fill in her floral crown. I made her silver bracelet and her fan from a vintage jewelry finding. She wears vintage shoes that have had the elastic replaced. She wears a vintage “diamond” ring and I have replaced her missing “diamond” earrings. She will come with a replica of the 1955 Alexander tag. The dress is in very good shape, just some small rubs to the fabric. Elastic is stretched on her panties. Elastic has been replaced on her crinoline. Floral crown is faded but lovely. No stains on her clothing at all. Three rhinestones on her dress have darkened with age. The doll herself is in very good condition. Lashes are full and perfect. Hair still in hairnet with metal bar. Tiny scratches on her left upper thigh below the joint as shown. No splits or cracks at all. Ask any questions you may have. This is a wonderful example of this doll! She was part of A Child’s Dream Come True Collection. She came wearing a heavy slipper yellow satin gown with a tulle muff and ruby red roses in her day, but she became separated from her outfit somewhere in her lifetime. But she is a very distinct doll and there is no mistaking her history. She has a unique, full, red wig that is pulled back sharply with a spanner and tied at the nape of her neck with full tight curls. Her hair is totally in it’s original set. I did add a new tie at the neck, as it had broken. Plus, she has her signature earrings. They are diamond and topaz and are factory glued on. She was never a played with doll, that is apparent. She is clean and has no odors, stains, chews, or splits/cracks. Not at the neck, side of head, sides of knees, crotch, or inside the leg socket. She has one small area on one thigh that has a scratch. I have pictured it. She has nice blush still remaining on her hands. She has a flawless face. No scratches or rubs. The picture I took of her laying down to show her lashes shows a light reflection on her upper lip. There is no paint loss or flaw at all on her lips. They are a bright red color. Her eyes have darkened a bit with time, but the whites are not super yellow. The flash makes them look more so than they appear in real life. Arms are also a bit darker than the body. She is a bit loose in her right leg at the hip. Knees are tight, but she will need a stand. Her bra and panty set is one I had. I have no idea if it is hand made or an extra to be bought for this size doll. It has new elastic placed in the panties. It is really cute. I do not photo shop or alter my pictures in any way.
