Here is a gorgeous vintage 21 tall Margaret O’brien. She is marked ALEXANDER on her back. Her dress and hair ribbons and socks look original to me. The slip, panties and shoes are replaced. I’m not sure if that hat belongs to her but it is vintage. Her dress is not tagged. She has a mohair wig. She has all hair and eyelashes. Her left eyelashes are all there, they just look shorter then the right side. She is super clean and shiny. There is very light crazing all over. There is a small place on the right side of her neck where the composition is cracked and lifting. There is another small place on the inside of her right knee where the composition is cracked and lifting as well. Her stringing is great condition. We are a smoke free home. I have collected Cissy dolls for 15 years and have acquired a lovely collection. We have recently relocated and I no longer have my “Cissy” room. Height: 20 No cracks or open seams. She has jointed soft vinyl arms, hard-plastic. Jointed legs and an infused plastic face. This Cissy exemplifies why this Madame Alexander is considered “the fashion doll of the Century”. Nothing on this doll has been altered. Shiny beautiful shade of brunette wig in original up sweep do with original bar across crown of her head – pulled back into a thick ponytail at the nape of her neck. Lovely blue/green eyes with a light gray smokey eye shadow and full upper lashes. Classic red lip coloring. Blush retained on body in appropriate places. ALL ORIGINAL ENSEMBLE IN AS CLOSE TO MINT AS IT GETS. No alterations or laundering to gown or hat. No holes or tears in net tulle -no rolling at hemline, cutting or shortening of net tulle. Crinoline shell pink slip still retains crispness and crinkle like it is right out of the factory. All accent flowers at hemline with mint rosebud on pink satin sash. Wears the signature “blue diamond” ring that is specific to this ensemble. Also the diamond earrings and shell pink pearl necklace and little pink gloves to set off her pink gown. Cissy is wearing a dotted Swiss tulle, over a blush pink taffeta, accented with a pink satin sash with a rosebud at the waist. The gown has a deep square neckline with a small ruffle and sheer short puff sleeves. The hat is a horsehair straw lace hat that sort of bends or looks like a ripple effect around the face, trimmed in pink rosebuds. I can safely say Rick Nelson would not have left his garden party without this gorgeous Cissy on his arm! Cissy is clean, no splits or cracks, no odors, and no chews. She is newly restrung to her head and arms. She has light rub on her inner thighs. She has her original auburn updo wig that is in it’s original set. She has nice arms with no rips. She has a wonderful matte finish and she has had some blush applied. She has had some repaint to her chest and shoulders from fading from wearing a gown on display for many years. She stands and poses wonderfully. Cissy is wearing a new theater outfit. She has on a lovely longer length velveteen coat with a wide collar. It has a double sided satin red ribbon at the neckline. This is a Rare and Stunning 1952 Black Hard Plastic Cynthia Doll Yellow Dress Madame Alexander Margaret Face 14 Inch. Cynthia is a rare and stunning 14-15 inch strung hard plastic black doll in beautiful clean condition dressed in her original yellow organdy dress outfit. Her black wig is in the original set and includes the original yellow bow. She has all of her face paint, including coral lips, brown sleep eyes with full lashes, and painted underlashes. Her stringing on her legs is tight and she poses. The stringing on her arms is slightly loose. Her hard plastic body was never marked. The clean sheer yellow organdy ruffled dress is tagged Cynthia. The dress has a yellow ribbon waist sash, an attached white taffeta slip, and matching panties. She is also wearing her original socks and black side-snap shoes. Condition : Cissy is in excellent condition considering she has been loved doll for many years. She is not perfect, but she is a beautiful doll. She is clean and does not have that sour hard plastic smell. I do not see any serious flaws with this doll however her head is a bit loose, but she does hold a pose well. Her eyes will open and close but sometimes her head must be adjusted. But for display, that is not a problem. Her coloring is nice, and her rich red wig is very thick and beautiful. There are some hairpins to hold curls in place and she will be wearing a hairnet to keep her style as it is. She is wearing a beautiful black taffeta after five tagged dress. Her stockings are original. Her undergarments were beautifully made especially for her. The shawl and jewelry she is wearing are very vintage. My Cissy did not have pierced ears, however I had earrings that go with the necklace, so I just hooked them to her hair. They could be glued on her ears, but Ill leave that to her new owner. Cissy’s outfit is complete with a Richards original feather bandeau hat and matching handbag. I try to describe as accurately as possible but may leave something out please look at the pictures carefully as they are the most important part of the description. Remember, this is a vintage doll over 50 plus years old, and will not be perfection, as a new doll would be. I will also be listing doll clothes and other related items. I have Madame Alexander’s from the 1930s to 60s!! I also collect Arranbees, Tonis, and others. So please check back. The doll stand is not included. My home is smoke free I do have a dog and cat, but they are not allowed to play with my dolls :. I do not make a profit onshipping. If you have any questions, please ask. They smell nice to me and to others who have bought from me, but I can understand if someone is highly sensitive or allergic to fragrance. I’m adding this caveat because I don’t want to cause an allergic reaction to anyone who has allergies. Please understand I have nothing to gain by being purposely dishonest. Here is a gorgeous vintage 13 Snow White. All hair is present. She is all original. Her eyes open and close as they. She has very light crazing all over. This stunning 1958 Bride was called Mary Rose and has the older Elise face. She has jointed elbows, knees and ankles. She is all-original, including her beautiful floral wreath gown, flowers, veil and circular headdress, pearl earrings, necklace, bracelet and stockings, garter and shoes. I added her solitaire engagement ring. The doll has no issues and is flawless. She is blonde and blue-eyed. Her wig is in perfect original shape. Her stockings and garter are like new. This is an amazing Elise from 1964. This is a transition Elise so she is hard plastic except for her head and arms. She wears a gorgeous peachy/pink ball gown that is full of gorgeous lace. I believe its very difficult to find this dress in this color. The bodice is Val lace too. Her original dress is beautiful and she has two slips, a pink with Val lace that does have a few stains on it and a white full slip however, the elastic has stretched and needs to be sewn. She has brunette hair that is glossy and beautiful – full of curl! Her color is really nice and she has beautiful coral lips. Shes wearing her original pink shoes. Overall a lovely doll!
