We are pleased to present… “Queen Elizabeth” II, British Coronation doll. E II R Absolutely beautiful, hard plastic, (and vinyl over-sleeve arms) 21 inch tall , Cissy, “Queen Elizabeth”, coronation portrait doll , circa 1950s, (#2281) by Madame Alexander is getting quite difficult to find. She has beautiful, light brown hair in the original set with thick curls and has lovely blue, clear sleep eyes, perfect eyelashes, closed mouth and pierced ears. Her hard plastic body has the vinyl over-sleeve arms with joints at the elbows, shoulders, hips and knees as well as high-heel shaped feet and pink touches to knees. She wears her tagged: Cissy/Madame Alexander, long gold brocade , taffeta, tulle lined, Court gown with bustle train back, attached, “Order of the Garter” long blue sash with rhinestones, studded stones and pearls as well as her original lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed long nylon stockings , gold satin high-heeled shoes, long gloves and three original, stone studded bracelets. And she wears her original, gold gem stone encrusted crown. Shown on page 53, Mme. Alexander Dolls 3rd edition-Mandeville. Her gown is crisp and clean without stains or fading. She has no cracks or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no fading or other marks and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. “Prince Philip” & other dolls are not included and will be listed separately. Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Brunette hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged aqua blue cotton dress with lace trim. Woven hat with flocked flowers and veil. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls, smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with pearl embellished drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress, it is aqua-blue cotton with a full circle skirt, buttons in the front, trimmed with lace. She has a taffeta slip with net flounce and aqua-blue panties with lace trim, matching satin high heel pumps. Her hat is fabulous, woven cream color with wide shaped brim, it has a matching woven blue bow on top, covered with fine veil around the front. Adorned with flocked flowers, it still has the original chin strap attached and a hat pin. The listing is for the doll and clothing shown, no stand included. 1963 Vintage Madame Alexander Wendy-kins Twice Tagged SMARTY Doll Box & Hang Tag. Doll is marked ” ALEX ” on her back. Her red coat and her dress. Her box is labeled ” Wendy-kin “. And her wrist hang tag says Wendy. Wendy-kins wears the #1150 or 1155 SMARTY. Outfit with a dress and jacket both tagged. Her undies, slip, socks and red shoes. The blue skirt seems in great condition. With pleats all around and very little evidence of wrinkles. The white top is missing the red bow at the collar. But has working square snaps in the front. The red jacket is fastened in front. With 2 gold toned buttons. Her slip has wonderfully tight original elastic. And seems like it has never come off. Until I took her photos. She has beautiful coloring in her facial features. And blinking flirty eyes. Her plastic in general has a very clean. Her walker mechanism works a little. Her wig has curls all around. The back curls were tucked under her collar. Where they seemed to have tucked for decades. While she lay in storage. And need a little restyling. The box is in very nice condition. With only some small initials written on the lid. The box label has some confusing marks. The original stamp says Wendy-kins. And has a stamped number for a doll in the 66? But someone hand wrote a 7 on top of the last number. So I don’t think this is the original box. For this outfit because the SMARTY outfit. Is usually known as #1150 or #1155. If there is anything at all you need to know. That I didn’t mention or show. Please ask and I’ll answer what I can.
