Dress and Bonnet style. 1955 that is the only year the doll had no lower painted eyelashes. The tagged Little genius clothes came out in 1956. She still has nice coloring with red lips, nice lashes and curved brown eyebrows, face is slightly pale. She has dark blonde hair with some slight red touch and she is jointed at the neck, arms, legs, knees, eyes works well. Her body is a loose type. Maybe it will need a re-strung later. So far it’s still okay. Her walking mechanism works not perfect but okay most of the time. Sometimes her head may get stuck. However it’s still working somehow. Her back is signed ALEX for Madame Alexander authenticity. She wears original Madame Alexander very RARE tagged Little Genius outfit from 1956 with matching bonnet. Southern Edwardian style, also she wears cute. She wears Madame Alexander beautiful velvet shoes and white socks. She looks absolutely adorable. Her outfit may have some slight aging signs, otherwise it’s fine. Nobody played with this doll, however this doll was displayed by collector. The doll has good preowned condition.
