Ask any questions, look at photos closely. 13 composition Jane Withers doll by Madame Alexander. Marked on back of head Jane Withers Alexander Doll. Single stroke brown eyebrows. Painted black lower lashes. The eyes are crazed, see photo. Few very faint craze lines , see photo. No chipping or flaking. Small chip of composition missing on right neck flange, see photo. Don’t see when heads on right. Fingers and toes intact. Wig is probably a replacement, light brown mohair. Clothes are not original but appropriate. Dress, half slip, panties. Shoes look original, very frail, right shoe is coming apart in back and wear areas. Not sure if socks are originals. I have tried to describe what I see, if I have left something out, ask. Collectors use your own judgement, some of you are experts on these old dolls, I’m no expert!
