Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a pretty Alexander Princess Margaret Rose doll, tagged and 15. She wears her original clothes and hat. Her dress is tagged Margaret Rose and I believe she was made in the 40s. She has a mohair reddish wig and her eyes open and close. Although her clothes are original, they are limp and not mint. I dont see any holes or rips but the dress is in fair condition. Her mohair wig is matted in back because of laying flat. She does have a beautiful face with rosy checks. Please ask questions as I may have missed something. This all original 1937 Alice in Wonderland doll is as close to perfection as can be without being straight off the toy department shelf! You can see that her dress and composition coloring have not faded over time and are like new. The little black shoes are in excellent condition, soles and heels intact and clean. The Wendy Ann swivel waist doll can be posed in so many positions, from bending over to turning at the waist to look at something behind her. The Cheshire Cat in the one photo is a prop and does not come with her. The 14 swivel waist dolls have been my favorite Madame Alexander doll. My mother collected dolls and she had one I loved and will always have. I have collected quite a few and will be listing more in the future. Please carefully examine the photographs.
