Madame Alexander Dolls

Antique/ vintage c 1941 Madame Alexander doll. Tagged blue dress with yellow apron. Presented here is a beautiful vintage 1941 Jeannie Walker Madame Alexander doll. She is all composition, jointed arms and legs, head turns. Lovely face with original amber-brown eyes, soft eye shadow, painted lower lashes, thick hair upper lashes, single stroke brows and sweet coral mouth. Her wig is replaced, it is really lovely with tight finger curl ringlets, they are held with the old hair pins, light brown color. The body is in good condition, she has dark red nail polish which is original, not perfect, a little worn. The doll is overall very excellent, there is only very minor, fine crazing, nothing noticeable. There is some damage to the top of the head where the old wig was glued, some old glue and a couple of spots where the finish is off. She is marked on the back; Alexander Doll Co/ Pat No. Her dress is tagged. She wears a blue dress with puff sleeves, matching bloomers and a yellow organdy Swiss dot apron/ pinafore on top. She has white crochet socks and black ankle tie shoes. To top it off she has a pretty straw bonnet with blue trim. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears, it has some new elastic woven in the top of the bloomers and cuffs where the original elastic has lost the stretch.
