Vintage Madame Alexander Kins Gretel #470 from 1955 in her Original Box

The doll has a lovely tosca hairstyle with side bunches. The elastic bands had deteriorated with age so I replaced them and now her hair is nice and secure. Her overall coloring is very pretty and her all original facial coloring is lightly blushed. She comes wearing her correct dress with blue flowered apron. Her dress is free of stains, holes, tears or odors. The pink taffeta skirt has not faded and is a nice pink color. The top portion of the dress is an ivory/white organdy that does show a little age at the top of the sleeves. Over the dress she wears her black bodice that still maintains its original black suede. Her blue apron is very clean and the colors are very vibrant, it has no stains, tears, holes or odors. Wendy wears a bonnet that matches her apron and it is also in great condition with nice vibrant colors. Under her dress she wears a light pink long slip and pantaloons both of which have nice stretch and are in good condition. Lastly she wears a really nice pair of black fuzzy bottom side snap shoes in very good condition. The box is original and correct but it is in poor condition as you can see in the pictures.
