This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind Ice Capades Cissy! This Ice Capades Cissy was made as a prototype for the Ice Capades 20th addition 1960-61 show called Tosca from Operama. The Ice Capades partnered with Madame Alexander during it’s popularity and Madame gave them dolls to work on for the costuming that would later be made for the skaters. These dolls are far and few between and they are an amazing historical value. This Cissy has a gorgeous sequined dress and large hat with boa feathers. The detailing and jewelry accoutrements are amazing. This doll is featured on the Second Series Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls book by Patricia R. Please note that the costuming does not come off of this doll. As it was a prototype for the upcoming costuming, it is all sewn right on the doll.
