Madame Alexander Dolls

VINTAGE & RARE MADAME ALEXANDER COCO DOLL – LISSY – MADE IN 1966 ONLY. This is a very hard to find doll. Shes in nice condition but the prior owner smoked so there is a odor when you put your nose up to her. This will air out over time if you are a smoke free home. She could use a little cleaning. Her face still has nice blush. There a few spots here and there. The dress does show yellowing to the bodice. It does have the tag. There is some soiling to underside of bodice (as seen in last two photos). The attached slip is yellowed from age and has a few stains. The pink crinoline is still stiff and really fills out the pleated tulle skirt. The elastic waistband was stretched and the crinoline kept falling down so I added some elastic thread to tighten it. It now stays up. I did not notice any damage to pleated tulle skirt. She has her original undies which have some brown spots, stockings and very hard to find shoes. One bow fell off one shoe and I glued it back in place. Shoes show yellowing and wear from age. Her jewelry consists of rhinestone earrings and a bracelet. Her hair is still in the original set and in very nice condition. Comes from pet free home. Whether out to lunch with her girlfriends or tending to her garden, Cissy always seems ready for the camera! She’s wearing beautiful floral cotton. This is a very cute strapless dress, and it has lace trim at the top of the bodice, a black satin bow at center, and it closes at the back with two snaps. Underneath an attached crinoline gives the dress the fullness it needs, and Cissy is wearing ivory lace-trimmed panties, vintage hosiery & vintage black sandals. It’s waist length & fits her perfectly, and it has lovely beadwork at the neckline. She’s wearing her large “diamond” ring, has accessorized with black rhinestones… Teardrop earrings & a matching bracelet, and her “headband” and handbag each have floral bouquets, tying everything up in a beautiful bow! You don’t have to look too long to know that this Cissy is. Her gorgeous thick, auburn hair has curls at the crown and also at shoulder length. She had one high hip split which has been professionally repaired. Her features are lovely, her blush has been very lightly refreshed. She has beautiful clear blue eyes with a sprinkle of gold with full lashes, and no splits cracks or odors. She will come to you with a replicated vintage hang tag.
