This is Cornelia #2296, a 21 Madame Alexander Portrait doll with the Jacqueline face made only in 1974 with this lovely turquoise costume! She is marked on the neck ALEXANDER 1961 (year the face was first used). She has auburn hair in original set with the hair net still in place, blue sleep eyes with full lashes that work well, & the signature turquoise eye shadow that in this case matches her dress! Her face paint is perfect with pink cheeks & lips. She wears a tagged turquoise taffeta strapless dress under a matching jacket trimmed with black sequin braid & white lace. The matching hat has black lace & silk roses on both sides. Underneath is a white taffeta slip with net crinoline, matching pantaloons and hose. I believe she originally may have had some jewelry, which is not in the box. And her shoes are missing as well. Her nail polish is worn off quite a bit. And the gold band on her bonnet is broken. It still stays on very well though. Please see all photos and feel free to reach out with any questions. Comes with original blue box that shows moderate storage wear.
