LOT OF 10 VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER DOLLS, including a highly coveted 21 scale portrait doll, a highly documented complete wedding pair and multiple great restoration project pieces. This is an amazing investment lot for a dedicated collector or vintage doll restorer! FULL COLLECTION BREAKDOWN 1. SCARLETT O’HARA Large 21 scale. Wears her iconic tiered white lace ruffle bbq gown w green velvet waistband and molded ring accent on her left hand. Features rich brunette hair w original factory set curls and accent ribbons(slight vintage fading). Sleep eyes work perfectly. Includes original large portrait box w factory label, original pink protective tissue paper and cardboard head insert. Box shows normal age wear, including a few split/un-glued corner seams from storage. 2 & 3- THE HIGHLY COMPLETE WEDDING PAIR- 8scale. Both have their original outfits, shoes, stockings and undergarments. Groom features his rare original clear plastic factory hair shield still intact! Bride is missing her under-dress leg garter; groom is missing his top hat. Packaging is ultimate completeness. Comes w BOTH original boxes, factory head inserts, original pink tissue paper, BOTH attached wrist booklet tags and BOTH pristine, blank Blue/White Official Collector Registration forms. Note: Due to vintage age, both dolls have internal elastic/limbs and sticky sleep eyes. 4-10 HOLIDAY & STORYBOOK DOLLS 8′ scale. GERMANY- Features her traditional folk dress, white bloomers, mesh stockings and original matching green alpine felt hat. Hair is styled in its original factory braids w the original hair tie ribbon still intact! Seep eyes work flawlessly. Includes original box, factory head insert and attached wrist booklet (No tissue paper, limbs are slightly loose). PETER PAN-100% complete outfit including pointed brown felt hat with red feather accent, felt tunic belt with gold buckle, pants/tights and matching shoes. Includes original box, head insert and attached wrist booklet. No tissue, box lid has a slight tear on the side seam, limbs/head are loose. DENMARK-Beautifully outfitted in her purple velvet bonnet/bodice with 2 gold flower brooches, rose-rust taffeta skirt and white apron. Complete with shoes, bloomers and stockings. Sleep eyes work flawlessly. Includes original box, head insert, and attached wrist booklet. No tissue paper & limbs are loose. “TLC” REPAIR & PARTS PROJECT SWITZERLAND-Head is currently detached due to snapped vintage neck elastic, but the original metal hook is included. Costume is complete and features her highly fragile slung-back woven straw hat with white lace trim and pristine pink-rose white satin ribbon streamer. Includes original box and head insert. FRANCE- Head and one arm are currently detached due to age-relaxed elastic (original metal neck hook included). Features pristine original factory braids with red ribbons, tall black felt cap, and full regional dress. Shoes, stockings and wrist tag attached. DAFFY DOWN DILLY-Head and both arms are currently detached due to relaxed elastic (original metal hook included). Complete dress and yellow bonnet with green ribbon. Includes her original woven wicker basket (NOTE: the fragile handle is separated in the middle). One corner seam has naturally un-glued but cardboard is fully intact. SCARLETT O’HARA Green Curtain Dress Variant-Loose limbs/needs restringing. Features her beautiful emerald green curtain dress, velvet capelet with tie closure. (NO box, NO tag, NO shoes). All dolls come from a clean, pet free and smoke free home. Fabrics are clean and vibrant. Multiple dolls require standard elastic restringing repairs as fully noted above. Original cardboard boxes show typical light vintage shelf wear, edge rubbing, or aged glue points expected from 30-40 years of careful storing. This massive 10-doll collection will be packed with extreme care and stabilization to ensure no loose parts or boxes are damaged or lost through transit.
